So my BIG IDEA is one I've been kicking around for awhile. The Solstice is June 22. What I've wanted to do for a few years is take a drive and play 36 on one day at two courses. Get up and have the first tee time around 7, then lunch, and the next time before 1. To make this work we need courses that are relatively close together. This is easy is we stay around one of the big cities, but there are a few destination places I've noted.

Millersburg - Black Diamond & Fire Ridge - really fun mountain golf

Youngstown - Mill Creek Park - 36 holes of Donald Ross run by the metroparks

But there's lots of places we can go.

I still don't want you to reschedule because of me. I don't have a weekend spot available until June 18-19. That's Fathers Day, so some of you might get greater dispensation from SWMBO.

I can do early June too.

I should be available post-Memorial tourney. 
A few golf buddies and I are already considering the Fire Ridge/Black Diamond doubleheader. We got some fire ridge coupons from group golfer, and one of the guys said he wouldn’t drive to fire ridge and not play black diamond. 
So, great minds or something. I like it.

My buddy is out and unfortunately, I am going to have to back out too. My wife is having outpatient surgery on Friday and it's more involved/longer recovery time than what we thought at first. It would be too difficult to be gone all day that soon after. Have fun and I'll try to make the next one.

Thanks guys I think it will be ok and I'll probably spend more time keeping our daughter entertained so my wife can rest than anything else. I hope we can meet up again in July. Should I start looking at courses? Maybe The Quarry?
