Proto Concept Irons/ Wedges

Anyone have experience with these clubs? I bought a set and might offload them before I can even test them 

Worth keeping or better to sell new?

Why does this sport do this to me??

I’ve hit the driver and seen samples of the irons.   Selling something new is always better than selling something used.   Unfortunately Japanese equipment goes for a pretty penny and most likely you won’t get close to retail in the US.  Haven’t heard anyone really mention the driver during most wanted driver testing.

Appreciate the response! And yeah I figured once I pulled the trigger on buying them that I was already going to lose money, but thus is the golf life.

Forgot to mention these are the C01 irons specifically.

How'd you like the driver? Its STEEP haha

Driver head was a very compact design.  While I don’t think any club is “bad” they are designed for specific players.  It didn’t work well for my miss as the spin rates plummeted into unusable territory.  Also, $1100 for a driver is a bit steep for me especially when I can get comparable performance out of drivers for about 1/2 the price.

Interesting. And yes I do agree they are made for a very specific subset of players. Especially with the price tag, let alone the design. 

Where were you able to swing it? I wanted to go to the PGA show this year as I knew they were going to be there among many other great companies.

I am local to the MGS headquarters and am one of their most wanted testers.  They had it as one of the drivers we were hitting.
