Help with grind?

Hey everyone, I was quickly fit for a 54* and 59* SM9 wedge both with 10* of bounce and S grind. For those of you that use these how does the S grind perform on flop shots and out of bunkers? Now looking on the vokey site I see that it is more geared for a square face, which I rarely hit with 59*. Am I better off switching to an M or even D grind?

I use the S grind on my 54 and don’t have any issues with it out of bunkers. The M and D grinds have more heel relief if you do like opening the face around the greens.

I have the D grind on my 60 and I really like it. So great from greenside rough and soft bunkers and really not too difficult off of slightly tighter lies

Give the Vokey wedge selector tool on their site a try and see if it recommends anything different

The s grind is versatile.

If you did a fitting the site should offer what the primary recommendations and alternate options

See what they offer in both. The fitting tool is pretty good and accurate
