You'll find an amazing knowledgeable and welcoming community with some of the best gear reviews done by our members (both official and unofficial) and incredible conversations about golf and so much more. 

Soon or member testing will start for 2022 (check out the faq on how to become a tester) and more other fun contests from PGA pick'em, major pools and more. 

Keep in mind member testing is not a contest to be won, but full review commitment with thousand signing up, so getting involved is encouraged! Again FAQ will answer most questions, but don't hesitate to ask. 

We have a lot more coming for 2022 for our membership so stay tuned!

I’ll point you to the mission of MGS in general:  https://mygolfspy.com/our-mission/

Their mission does carry over to the forums.  I would say this forum is a smaller more intimate community that the larger golf forums.

As someopne who spent many years at THP and have been here now for about 6 years, they both offer different vibes depending on what you are lookng for.

Here you will find your opinons and thoughts are 100% welcome and valued no matter if you are a scratch or 36 handicap.  Everyone has a personal opinon to share and as long as it's repectively presented, it's welcome by all.  There is no one dominat voice or opinon here, it's a community in the truest sense of he word. 

No real OEM trips here, but we do offer a pretty good member testing as mentioned above by Golfspy_APH that involves most of the major OEM's.

Hope around to some different threads, join the conversation, start your own thread if you have a question or interesting topic. 

Also check out your regional thread, those are great for getting a deeper conversation into golf things of interest in your area and looking for small local groups getting together. 

You are in the same region as I am, and I am in the thought stages of hosting a Mid Atlantic area outing some time this summer, so indtroduce yourself there and keep an eye out.

Yeah THP gets dominate by a certain group and if you're not part of "in crowd" you get pushed aside and bullied.

Said on the other thread... but Welcome GN!  The forum is full of great conversations and experiences across all aspects of this great game, and a little outside this game.  I also suggest taking a look at the main MGS site (apart from the forum) which contains a dedicated team at MGS that provides testing, comparisons and valuable opinions on all things golf.  The Most Wanted section is my personal favorite... lots of good information there on equipment.  Enjoy the site!
