Who's LPGA swing would you copy?

... I know this has been done but watching the LPGA which more closely resembles the average male AM than the PGA, which ladies swing would like to have? While Nelly Korda is an obvious choice I would love to have Patty Tavatanakit's swing. So simple and so powerful.

I don't watch golf so my knowledge is limited especially on the LPGA but I could watch Nelly swing all day long, so simple with effortless power. She has IMO one of the best looking swings I have ever seen. Hogan did say this is the best though.

I’ll go number 2 in the world:  Jin Young Ko.  Most of the LPGA players seem to have great swings but Lexi’s is one I wouldn’t copy.

Minjee is my choice. A very simple and repeatable swing with effortless power in it. If I couldn’t copy hers it would be @cnosil choice of Jin Young Ko.

Put me down for Maria Fassi... effortless power there and everything looks so smooth. Brooke is a close second and for a surprise, I'd take the simplicity and solid results of Inbee Park as well

Nelly Korda. She is the Fred Couples of the LPGA, an effortless buttery smooth swing that make ball go far!

I'd like Inbee Parks tempo and swing length with Brooke Henderson's swing path and release.  I like the way Brooke is steep on the back swing but drops her hands to shallow the downswing and releases her hands through impact.  However, her swing speed and how far back she goes would end my golf career quick!  That's where Inbee Park comes in - with her shorter swing and slower tempo I could keep playing for a long time!

Any of them, their tempo is more like what I strive for. I don’t watch the LPGA as often as I should so I don’t know the players so well that I can differentiate their swings from memory - maybe JY Ko? Not the last womens golf I watched, but the last match that sticks in my mind was Kupcho and Fassi at the first ANWA (before they joined LPGA) - that was awesome!

I vote for Minjee.   Some of the other ladies' swing require flexibility that I cannot even begin to fathom.

All the top women have amazing swings, Of take any of them. I watched Boutier today and she caught fire for awhile.

... Of course! I find it very interesting how much less movement the modern swing has compared to the classic swings in the Bobby Jones era.

You're right, but even look at Nicklaus and Palmer. There's a lot more sway and rocking in their swings than anybody today. I'm not sure when the less movement in the lower body started, but that's what everyone seems to do now. Though the Me and My Golf guys posted YT today with Fleetwood. I was surprised to see how he bends into his driver.

Early 2000s is when swings started changing with the restricted hip turn or creating the x mentality.

Rory and Tiger have similar foot action to the greats from the past. Bradley Hughes shows this in some of his videos.

As someone else posted, I'd like anyone of their swings - so much distance  with so little effort. But......if forced I'd definitely put Nelly at the top of the list. I've seen  her in person at the Marathon Classic and last year's Solheim Cup - smooth with what appears to be very little effort by someone who can't weight much more than 100 lbs. . Lexi would be at the bottom of the list as she looks like she's trying to muscle the ball.

Nelly is just shy of 150. She has a great swing and very powerful for her size. She uses her bigger muscles similar to and Ernie Els to get that nice flowing swing.

Lexi’s swing was developed from trying to hang with their brother and the boys so there’s definitely some muscling of the swing there and some of her movement like jumping is to compensate for lack of room in the downswing. What I find interesting is that Lexi is top 5 in driving distance, top 5 in GIR and top 10 in scoring avg almost every year. Her putting is her Achilles heel.

Just did a search - 132 lbs at 5'10". Even though I've seen her up close in tour events I didn't realize she was that tall. She definitely has an effortless swing.

The family is tall and athletic. Good genes in mom Md dad that got passed down to the kids.
