DaddyDV 0
Hello All, Hopefully this is the right area but I just ordered a Evnroll ER1TS after really liking the trainer version. I ordered a 33' and my trainer is 34'. I am 5'8/5'7 and was concerned the 33' might feel too small. If I just extend it an inch, will it really mess up the weighting and lie? - If so anyone know the difference so I can get it bent if needed? Thank you! Quote Link to comment
Middler 3,780
I may be missing your question, but if you choose a 1TS custom on the Evnroll website, the options it shows: Lie -1 to 5, 1 standard Loft 66 to 75, 70 standard along with some other customization options That's more latitude than any other model I've seen. Putter length isn’t specific to height and is more relevant to stance and how far you stand from the ball. I personally advocate to get the length to fit your setup but some people adapt their setup to the putter. The difference won’t “mess up” anything. Evnroll uses the same weight head for that model so there will be a swingweight change, but you may not even notice the difference. I don’t when I change the length of my putters. If you do, add some lead tape to the head. If you grip the putter at the end going to 33” will impact how the putter sits at address or you will have to raise your handles or move closer to sit the putter flat on the ground. If you choke down on the 34” gripping the 33” a closer to the butt end would result in no impact. So the basic answer is doN’t know, try it when you get it. I am interpreting as he just ordered 33” with default configuration. DaddyDV 0
Awesome feedback, yes I ordered a stock 33' putter. I think it should be fine, but wasn't able to find if the head weight was the same with all lengths(which was answered). Thank you! Quote Link to comment
