I don't subscribe to the FCT theory. Is there a bushing or sleeve I can epoxy in the head and do a normal reshaft? What about the bottom screw, maybe just plug it?

Why not just put it in at standard and throw the wrench in the garbage? The ferrule is the same size as most ferrules out there and you wouldn't notice a difference. Use acetone to wipe the words off.

I have several different shafts I want to try and it is easier to pull them and not mess with the adapter. I tried all the settings and keep it in neutral and can't tell the difference.
