One person's stylish could be another person's awful.  However for comfort, I have always found FootJoy to work for me.

not sure on what you want on the stylish side, but I've found Sqairz to be the best I've used.  Very comfortable and stable.  See the reviews section of the forum for more info.

True that!  I find the Footjoy shoes on the Blog today to be awful, and I have never found a comfortable Footjoy shoe.  I like True Linkswear and Skechers, but likely going with Skechers for my next pair.

I have been a Footjoy fan for years.  I loved the Dryjoy Tours.  Well, they no longer make them.  Their replacements...well I am not a big fan of them...mainly because of the new style.  Glad I have 4 more pair of Dryjoy Tours that have never been out of the box to go along with the other 6 pair I alternate with.  Oh, and as far as looks are concerned, I will never wear a pair of golf shoes where the edges of the soles are white.  Hate that look.

So, I can't say how comfortable the new Footjoy Tarlow or Packard series are as I have never worn a pair.

Stay away from the Puma Ignites. I generally like pumas for general casual wear, so I got a pair for golf and the fabric on the heel inside wore out after about 6 months. They're pretty snug, probably doesn't help (comfortably so, I never had an issue walking in them, but definitely a little work involved in getting them on).

I saw a review for them when I got them that said this happens, but hey, it's just an online review, that won't happen to me! whoops. Definitely going to stick to the FJs or adidas this season.

Side note, anyone have thoughts on if the BOA systems are worth the extra cost? I walk 90% of the time.

I tried on a pair of Asics the other day and they were VERY comfortable, but the issue is they were cloth/nylon and reviews say they get dirty very quickly. Ugh. Aggravating because I want those so badly!!!

I learned a long time ago to stick with Footjoy DryJoys. They always fit correctly, never leak, hold up good to the elements and are very comfortable. I'm old school and would still wear metal spikes if allowed. I've got three pair of DryJoys Tour that I rotate depending upon what I'm wearing on a particular day. I usually buy the previous year's model at a discount. The Tour-S DryJoys are quite stylish also.
