Great looking fairway club. In need of a new 3 wood/metal fairway club, so very timely to hopefully get selected to try this club.

I am ready, will and able and a huge Sub 70 fan.  I have 2 of your Hybrids and have had 2 different iron sets.  Quality stuff!

This isn’t the testing thread for the Sub70 fairway guys. If you haven’t already please read this thread, complete your profile w/ a picture preferably, then sign up in the testing thread.

I happen to be looking at upgrading my fairway wood to see if the new tech products would benefit my game. I am currently playing a Callaway Diablo Edge and would like to see if a newer product would aid in improved trajectory

You must be a MGS Forum Member in order to be selected.
- Sounds pretty straight forward, but I ran some of the numbers and on average 90% of our signups are what I would classify as one off signups with 1 or fewer posts. Then if we look at those with 50 or more posts that number is only 2% of the overall signups.

..and...

I think the bulk of those one off new members come from MGS advertising the testing opportunity on Twitter, IG, etc. A lot of golfers see the testing opportunity as a way to get free stuff so they join the forum, are not selected, or realize there's a significant time commitment, and are never heard from again.

Haven't read through all the previous responses yet, so this may have already been mentioned, but... I believe one part of "advertising" on social media is to extend the let's call it awareness of the testing opportunity .. to try and draw in new people .. of whom some %tge would hopefully convert into regularly participating forum members.

You're a well-intentioned gentleman but, honestly, I don't think you should bother wasting your time...... (..seems to me they've already eliminated themselves *as a result of those very posts in this thread*...!)

Testing brings a lot of eyes to the forum, but not a ton of new content. It's how most find the forum which is great, so hopefully as a community we can find ways to retain some of these golfers who come for testing.

Large reason why I made this thread in the first place.

We as mods have zero to do with the sm push for tests whether that be Twitter/Instagram/Facebook or whatever else may be used. However I can imagine. It certainly helps with numbers on their end with likes and impressions and all of that. However that is far outside my area.

In the end again hopefully we can retain some of these users and make them into life long members!

It's the down side of having the how to become a tester highlighted for those that will get something out of it and the others which think it is where to apply. Hopefully for those that do read the thread it will provide them with drive good information.

I know it’s been touched upon, and i doubt many new testers have read this deep into the comments, but it should be noted that a tester really has a lot of work to do. Lots of pictures, videos perhaps, lots of writing and re-writing. It is definitely not just “free stuff”, yaba daba doo!!

Ive found it useful to layout the whole review in a separate document, and to chip away at it as the days and rounds go by, rather than trying to pound it all out in one setting. That way, as the equipment shows you various things on each round, you can go to your floating document and add in bits and pieces as they happen, rather than trying to remember it all at 2 hours before due date.

the hardest part to me is paring it all down to the word limit, and it really makes you focus on the key and important thoughts, rather than a run-on word salad. And I think that lots of pictures and videos really add meat to a review as well…

Thanks for the info! My first visit and post. Will be posting a review of the Rogue ST LS soon. Got it as a gift from my wife and initial impressions are that it is as good or better than advertised.
