Mike B 7
I want to purchase a launch monitor. With that said I don't want to spend over $500. I have been checking out the Voice Caddy SC300I. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this is a good choice. I am by no means a low handicap player but have really just started working on my game since retiring. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance. 2 Quote Coming back to golf Link to comment

This would be a good place to start: https://mygolfspy.com/best-personal-launch-monitor-2021/ Saying you want a simply want a launch monitor doesn't provide enough information. What features are you looking for and how do you anticipate using the device? At the range? In a net, indoors, outdoors? .... 2 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* set to 16.5* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 816H1 19* set at 18* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 5-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54-10S 588 58-12 Putter: Auditions ongoing Backups: 6330, TM-180, Milled Collection RSX 2, Bellum Winmore 787, mFGP2, Directed Force 2.1 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017 Link to comment
Mike B 7
It will be used outdoor at the range. Info I am looking for is carry distance, swing speed, apex, total distance, and ability to connect with a computer or phone if possible. I prefer a monitor that is a little bigger than say a SC200. My eyes aren't what they used to be. 1 Quote Coming back to golf Link to comment

ChitownM2 729
I have a mevo and I would say it is OK at best. Sometimes it seems spot on and others I just shake my head and say there is no way that can be right. Its also hard to get a good gauge on how accurate it really is. My most recent practice session had huge differences between my mevo and the top tracer but it was pretty windy and I think to tracer followed the full ball flight opposed to the mevo which is really only looking at the initial launch and first 8-10 feet or so resulting in up to a 20yd carry difference with my driver. My eyes aren't what they used to be. If your only use will be for outdoor range AND you will be hitting range balls only, there is no point of getting high end devices which will provide accurate spin #'s etc since the range balls will perform drastically different than the balls you will be using on the course. Since you are going to be using it outdoors, you should consider a radar-based system. Cheapest camera-based system is SkyTrak @ $2000 and it's not great for outdoors. (plus you can't use it on grass). If it was me and I was really only going to use it hitting range balls outside, I'd go with moderately priced radar system. However, my needs are for hitting indoors and getting accurate #'s. I started with SkyTrak a couple of years ago and now I've just moved up to Bushnell Launch Pro. 2 Quote Epic Max LS 11.5° (10.5°+1) w/ Graphite Design Tour AD IZ 6 stiff Epic Flash 3 Wood 17° (15°+2) w/ Project X Even Flow Green 60 stiff Super Hybrid 21° (20°+1) w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange 80 stiff Rogue Hybrid 5 (24°) w/ Aldila Synergy 60 HYB Graphite stiff 2021 P790 Irons 5-AW (1° flat, weakened lofts) w/ Aerotech Steelfiber i95 cw regular CBX2 Wedges 54°, 58° w/ True Temper DG 115 Wedge flex Odyssey White Hot OG #1 Stroke Lab, 33 in Pro V1 Bushnell Launch Pro Link to comment
Bang60 93
I'm using Rapsodo and for $500 I think it's great, the best feature in my view is watching video of every shot. It's gives ball speed carry distance dispersion and launch angle and more, I found that watching video of my swing showed it's quite different to what I imagined it was. I've recently shortened my swing trying to get more consistent, helped me a lot. This shows my improvement, I going to the left yes but I've lost the slice and hook.. 1 Quote Link to comment
