Argh! My buddy Lee and I are just about in … but our wives are taking longer than we’d like to square away a girls wknd in the MD area, too. If they come along, it’d be easier to justify the airfare.  

How many spaces are left for the $450/or so cottage option?

Not an intentional tease, but honestly because the details aren't naile down. But I'm expecting a surprise visitor or two and still working on plans for an OEM involvment to some extent.

46 that have expressed interest

6 that have commited and paid the deposit or fully paid for the Cottage Stay & Play

5 other tentatives on the stay and play.  

19 Golfers each day, counting the stay and non stay players.  Still plenty of room for golf only on either or both days.

And to clarify, we’re trying to get the wives to do their own thing entirely away from Queenstown Harbor … so just two possible spots needed.

Fly into BWI,  drop them off in Annapolis on the way over to Queenstown, golf and fun for two days, pick them back up in Annapolis on Sunday afternoon/evening on the way back to BWI!   A good time for all!

Or have the wives drop them off at the course and they take the rental down to St Michaels.  Lots of Eastern Shore waterfront towns to sight see through if they are into that sort of thing.  Or they drive across to DE and enjoy tax free shopping at the malls around Rehoboth.

Both great ideas.  The guys won’t need a car at Queenstown.  If anyone wants to go out somewhere off site there will be several there with cars.

I agree, St. Michaels is a very pretty small town filled with good restaurants, a winery and a distillery which is right on the water.  Annapolis is also extremely beautiful with great food and sights.  Kent Island and Kent Narrows both have great places on the water to eat and have some drinks while you watch the boats come in or go out for the day.  Across the street from Queenstown, are a set of Tanger Outlet stores so shopping is always an option close by.  If spouses want to travel, they can drive about an hour and a half and hit Ocean City, Md., or any of the Delaware beaches.  The Delaware beaches offer tax free shopping at Tanger Outlets as well, and a TON of brewery's (Dogfish Head is a must stop along with Thompson Island Beer Company) I must warn you...traffic will be bad on the weekends.  This drive, with traffic will be more like 2-2.5 hours depending on the time.  Kent Island also offers a "beach" but it's on the Chesapeake Bay so is it really a beach?!  Lots to do nearby, sky's the limit.

Masters Thursday Update:

46 expressed some interest in playing and or staying

10 Spots confirmed in the Cottage, so only 1 Bedroom with two queens remains.  There are a couple tenatives out there, so it will have to be first to commit/pay at this point. 

20 that have committed to playing/including the Stay/play guys.

It's really starting to take shape!!

Am on waiting list for a three night/four day event in Bowling Green, FL (Streamsong) in September and my retiree budget will only allow one event a year.  The concierge said he felt positive I would make it when I called because of my room accommodation request.  What do I know and hope so.  Guess a certain percentage drop out.  You guys have fun.  Hope you see at least one of you there.

Hey a Chuck. I understand completely snd hope you get in.   I’m in the TT event but just got scheduled for surgery the week after this get together.  So depending  on how my recovery goes. I may be one of the ones that creates an opening on the wait list. 
 

But ultimately I hope we both make it to StreamSong
