fixyurdivot 16,555
Well here we are, the 2022 seasons first major of the year and the biggest event in professional golf. The Masters is the greatest show on grass (sorry Waste Management). The folks at Augusta National are the undisputed champions of hosting golf events; from course management to televised coverage it is top shelf. My memories of watching this event with my Dad on b&w TV (then color...woohoo!) are still fresh in my mind. I also recall us neighborhood kids playing whiffle-ball golf at our local park and arguing over who gets to be which player that day. As is always the case, the field is loaded with the tours best players. Hideki Matsuyama is expected to return to defend his title but his withdrawal from the Valero due to a neck injury adds a little drama. Regardless, he'll certainly host the champions dinner and my money says wasabi will be somewhere on the table. And, I'd be remiss not to mention the biggest storyline of Tiger not only showing up but planning to play. And why wouldn't he? The worst thing that happens is he has to WD. Between he, Bryson, and Hideki the tours Physical Therapists could be busy . It's almost certain the purse will be at least $11.5m (last years booty) but many believe it will increased this year. As of now, I've not been able to find an official statement on this - part of the events mystic perhaps? . The weather looks to be cooperating with early week scattered showers clearing out Thursday am and through the weekend. The damp conditions should leave the course a bit more vulnerable but, there are always those "mud balls" to deal with. So who will don the green jacket this year? Will Hideki repeat? Will Tiger do the unimaginable and lay claim to the biggest story in sports history? Will it be an event rookie or perhaps a long past champion? Don't forget to make your pick for this weeks winner https://runmypools.com/JRMPNWWF. Good luck! 5 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)

fixyurdivot 16,555
Being a Fantasy League player, I've looked at various sources for divine intervention (predictive models) in determining which players to play. Thus far, I've found them to be not all that accurate. Poking around the Masters website and player bio's, I noticed they too have performance predictor... IBM's Watson. But, none that I've seen attempt to predict scoring. So for grins, I looked up all my players and noted what IBM's Watson say how they'll score in round 1. steveone 14
I'm here in Augusta. Lots of rain and thunder tonight [Wed]. I can see the start times pushed back to ready the course. Probably both tees. Rain to quit early [by around 7am] and the rest of the week looks good though the mornings will be cold [40s]. Not good for old backs. So - softer greens Thur/Fri - good scoring. The weekend should firm up for a great finish. 6 Quote Steve Smith

Hobert 806
I had an amazing time yesterday. Saw play from 1, 7, 9, 11/12 (grandstands), 15/16 (grandstands), 17 and 18 (among others). Watching Kisner hit his long chip at 11 was awesome. Leishman on in 2 at 15 was very cool as well. Saw Tiger's second shot on 1, finish 7, and his finish on 11 and 12. Got into the 15/16 Grandstands in a great vantage point and watched all of those fantastic afternoon groups come through. Our one and only photo from the Founders Circle below. Another cool thing: a car stopped right behind us as we were about to leave the Founder's Circle. The window rolled down and Gary Player asked to see a mom and a super cute baby who were in line with us and leaving after their photo at the same time. Mr. Player seemed very genuinely nice. It was a very cool experience. 7 1 Quote Big Bertha (2014) / Demoing Sub70 849D V Steel 3 & 5 woods 939X 4H 699 (4-6) / 699 Pro (7-PW) with KBS Tour 120 shafts (stiff) 286 Wedge (50 degrees) 588 RTX 2.0 (56 degrees) ER8v with Fujikura MC shaft (firm) University of Miami Stand Bag Supersoft / Maxfli Tour

fixyurdivot 16,555
For a course that isn't considered one of the toughest on tour, it's putting the field through the paces. At this rate, -10 may get it done. They have mentioned that several holes have been lengthened and it is playing at 7510. What I've noticed is how much less the par 5's are getting beaten up as compared to most courses, most weeks. Also, these greens appear to be amongst the toughest on tour... do data to support that, but it sure seems the case. 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)
