Club Champion Driver Fitting (maybe iron fitting)

Have a coupon code for free driver fitting at Club Champion from the SWAG box this week.  They charge $175 for the fitting so let's say $125 $115 SOLD obo.  

You may be able to do an iron during with this as well since they are the same price/time but you would have to call your local store to confirm.

What's the difference between this Club Champion fitting and a $50 Van Tour fitting by a Master Fitter at PGA Tour Superstore

Club Champion will have a lot more options for shafts than the local PGA store.  The PGA store usually only carries a small portion of the shafts available from each manufacturer opposed to CC will have pretty much anything that is available on the market.

While definitely true, all the additional shafts Club Champion offer will substantially increase the cost over the club manufacturer options. Every additional shaft they offer will be entirely above the full MSRP of the club retail, plus grip, adaptors, ferrules, puring, etc.

Most major club manufacturers have a good number of options, e.g. 15-30 different shafts. It’s easy to spend double on a set of clubs from Club Champion - like a $900 driver that would be $500 from the OEM.

100% correct.  I'm not advocating buying from CC but I have no issues getting a fitting there.  Most PGATSS don't even have the 15-30 shafts offered by each manufacturer and then have them in each flex, etc.  That would end up being like 50-100 shafts per manufacturer and like 500 shafts overall.  In my experience they usually have the stock option and then another ~15-20 total (including the same shaft in multiple flexes) opposed to club champion most likely will have them all.
