Nothing to roast you over. Even though it is not my style nevertheless you have quality stuff. Also like the John Daly headcover. Actually if I was to seriously go to a modern CB style those Pings would get serious consideration from me

I clicked on here fully anticipating a hard roast, but thats a pretty nice bag setup there. Once you sell off your grandpas irons and get your own, you'll be all set.

Seriously, roasting this bag would be in the lines of Norm MacDonald roasting Bob Saget (may they both rest in peace).  If you haven't seen this, search for it.  Absolutely the most delicate roast in the history of roasts.  Tight setup with good mix of brands that probably suit your needs.

How often do you hit your 4 iron?  Does it fill the spot between your hybrid and 5 iron in the way you would like it to?  Is it high enough?

I don't know how I would roast your bag, it's your bag.  I've never seen you hit a shot and I don't know what the course is like that you play on regularly. Once upon a time my bag was completely tailored to the course that I played 80 percent of my rounds on - it included two drivers, a 5 wood, 7 wood, 4-PW, SW, LW - it looked like it had a huge gap between driver and 5 wood which it did but that was because I only needed that shot if I was trying to reach a certain par 5 in two and I would use the second driver for that as well as off the tee on three or four of the par 4's.  I never needed 3 wood on an approach into a par 4 or a par 3 there - the bag was completely tailored for that course. Also, when I moved to Florida I had two sets of wedges, the winter ones had less bounce and worked well on dryer turf, the summer ones much more bounce, for the wet turf that we faced.  I read a comment about nice mix of brands but that doesn't necessarily make for a good bag.  There are men and women making millions of dollars a year playing golf that only game one brand. It's only a nice mix if it works so you really need to ask yourself the questions:

Have you gotten more enjoyment out of golf with this set up?  (most important one IMO)

If your goal was to cover certain gaps, ball flight issues or shot types that you normally face, did you cover them?

If your goal was to improve, have you?

Play well with them this summer, it's certainly a nice looking set.

Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60  Aldila  R flex   - 42.25 inches

SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft

Ping G410 7, 9 wood  Alta 65 R flex

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

I'm rocking Cobra Baffler Rail-H 2, 3, 4, and 5 hybrids circa 2011 ranging from 17 to 25 degrees with no fairway woods. All bought used and very chipped up, only have head covers for half of them. Just bought the 3H this winter because I hit the 2 and 4 so good!

Hit the 5H better than my 6 iron. So my irons start at a 7 now plus 4 wedges. Lead tape on putter, driver, all irons and PW/GW. There's also a random "driving iron" with a Ping G700 4 iron head on a 6 iron length AWT 2.0 shaft.

Well said as SOP for you Rev---- Yes I have always been a fan of playing what works for you--- And like you now basically my bag is set up for my home course. By carrying only 12 clubs I have wiggle room to add. Like I told one of the guys on WRX while ago If I play one of the courses South of me with fluffy greenside bunkers then I will add like my Old Hogan Sure out or my Eye2 LW.  I have been known to as recently as like 2014 when I played Mini Tour events to throw in like a Persimmon driver or 2 wood for some certain holes on certain courses. Yes I always say play what works for you and your game no matter the brand or even vintage of the clubs

Right up my alley make them work for you--- I have built and have always been a fan of "Frankenstein" clubs. Your G-400 sounds exactly like something I would build and try. I am for doggone sure ain't scared of any lead tape either. I can tell you from experience of being an old hustler myself I would not hardly play a man even that shows up with your set up--- And man if you can post some pics
