Option 2 Is very close. I actually have the regular Stealth. I tried tbe HD and it was too much left.  But I am very happy with the Stealth.  So kudos to TGF

HA!   Actually I was expecting a response that said.  "What does it matter you have them all anyway!"

Truefit was a good starting point. After my fitting, I got the Gen 4 0811x with the EvenFlow Riptide CB 50g. My launch angle was too high with the 0211.  The 0811X with a 7.5-degree head worked better.

On our member call last night Adam shared the news that TGF would soon be updated with the 2023 options. 

This isn't a be all end all fitting, but it provides a stellar starting point and for those not sure about the swing speed breakdown yet it it worth checking out. 

I am excited to see what is fitted for me. I was quite happy when it was the Rogue Triple Diamond last year and although I never had a chance to hit it, the appeal is still there.

Plus it is FREE!

It will be interesting to see what new models are recommended.  I was poking in some numbers last night and came up with three different combos of 1st & 2nd choices by changing the SS by 1 mph up and down from my average while in expert mode. 

I'm not looking to change....really I'm not......I can resist!!

Awesome to hear i was curious when this would get updated.  I'm in the market and I remember getting Rogue ST Triple Diamond with Tensi White last time. Yesterday I got an actual fit for Paradym Triple Diamond HZRDUS Black so pretty close.

Well new drivers are in and therefore it is time to report what this season has for me!

Something that I take away from this is the shaft recommendation. Although I don't play either of those it does have me in 65 gram stiff offerings which is exactly what I have come to prefer and use in my drivers. It is a nice little confirmation. 

Now the downfall is I know there is a Ping G425 in 65 stiff at the shop for a stupid good demo price... grr

How do you figure out what loft it's recommending?  The Driver it recommended for me can be purchased in 7.5, 9, and 10.5.  There is some adjustment with the sleeve but it only goes so far, and that changes other things.

Does it have anything to do with the picture it's showing, or is that just a generic pic? (like mine is showing at 9 degree head in the picture)

Good question. I will have to ask about it. 

I know from previous conversations I have had that while this works as a great fitting guide it also should serve as a starting point to help you see what should or could work best and it is suggested that finding a spot to test and hit that driver is a good idea.

picture is generic;  you need to go hit the club to figure out what loft you need as every golfer is unique.

Didn’t see this thread so I’ll post my results from my Strata set.  
 

this was two years ago.  Models available new at the time in October.

• TM sim2
• TM sim2os
• callaway maverick
• ping g425
• cobra rad speed 
• titleist t300?

I ended up hitting the TM and Callaways the best.

stock strata 7i.

The TM and Callaways for me performed the best.  I basically gained distance without losing launch or spin.

I figured since attack angle is one of the inputs, then loft recommendation of the head would be an output.

Angle of Attack doesn't tell you what you dynamic loft is at impact or where on the face you make contact.    This data you provides is used to match up with the the data that is recorded in the system.

That would have to mean that the "data recorded in the system" has no record of the loft of the drivers they're testing.  They're asking for "angle of attack" as an input and even though they don't have "dynamic loft" nor "face contact", it doesn't stop them from recommending a driver head and shaft based on the data they've collected. My suggestion is that they do have the lofts of the drivers they've tested and since they're already recommending the driver, why not also recommend the loft of the driver.

The testers use different lofts and different adapter settings and the launch monitors don't know the static loft of the clubs.

With season wrapping up for many, what did you end the main portion of the 2023 season with for you TGF Driver?

I have no idea about what sort of sorcery this TrueGolfFit things is or if it uses cookie tracking of some kind directly linked to my MGS signature, but I ended up with the exact shaft that I currently game and for which I was fitted! This is an oddly specific build as it’s definitely not a stock option or no upcharge option offered by Ping to my knowledge.

Moreover, the estimated launch parameters are frighteningly spot on with my stock metrics being 10-12° of launch angle, high 160 mph ball speed (i.e., smash factor 1.40-1.45) and spin around 2700-2800 rpm. I would have expected some kind of low spinning driver though.

Option 2 is very intriguing, to say the least. I have never heard of this XXIO model or ever thought about going the XXIO route before. I am also not familiar with this shaft at all.

Mine was the G425 Max as well. Of course subjective things aren't taken into account and having owned the driver it does perform really well.

I just did mine and it shows the Srixon ZX7 MKII with HZRDUS Black 60.  

I had the shaft in my PXG driver and liked it.

I think I have more issue with the shafts than anything.

It's funny, I did it a second time but did expert mode instead and the Top Result was a Cleveland Launcher XL and the Option 2 was the Mizuno ST-Z 230. Those don't seem to be even remotely similar in any way. Strange.

Never say never, but this is unlikely to dislodge the Paradym TD that is currently in the bag. (Spoiler - Nothing is likely to dislodge the Paradym TD that is currently in the bag.) It is a beast!

Have never swung a Tour Edge driver and have swung Tensei Blue and did not like the feel. Certainly would not be displacing my TSi3 w/Ventus TR Blue.

Also funny that I ended up with the same shaft as @Ben Joest although his handicap is much lower than mine.

Still, a cool tool!

... It really doesn't get any better than either of those IF they fit your swing. The Tensei Blue Xlink is in the top 3 shafts every time I demo a driver. Very popular on the LPGA Tour as well. It is one of those middle of the bell curve in almost every way with a mid flex, mid trajectory and mid spin but very, very smooth feeling so it fits a wide range of players. The fact that it produces almost identical performance compared to the AD-IZ and Red Velocore says a lot about how good it is and can be found in many OEM heads as a stock shaft or no uncharge custom option. But it is not really a shaft for a hard hitter or aggressive swinger. 

... The biggest problem with the Exotics brand is they tend to sound/feel very explosive with a high pitched signature, and the head shapes and graphics are not pleasing to a traditionalists eyes. David Glod the CEO and owner that started Tour Edge in his garage selling only locally in Chicago and the burbs really likes to be different. He does much better World Wide than here in the States. His fairway woods have always had a cult like following. Ahead of his time he introduced the first real hybrid called the  "Lift Off"  Iron Wood that was a cross between a fairway wood and an iron and it is the club that took him out of his garage and into a warehouse with worldwide distribution.
