We have our whole football season to watch these guys I don't need to see them play decent golf. Give me a blue collar guy that would never be able to get out on that level ever. Add in an interesting course that we don't get to see often on TV, and you've got something IMO. I think terrible (personal thought) because we don't need to see multi-millionaires play a game that there is no skin in, what does it do for the game? Nada. I think you would get a lot more viewers and appreciation with some not so famous people. Although I wouldn't mind seeing some comedians out there that can play like you mentioned with celebs. I have seen Cedrick the entertainer on course and he is pretty funny and a decent player. That's exactly what I thought - trying to get NFL fans more into golf, and maybe golfers into NFL? I always like the idea of a professional athlete teamed up with a regular "joe" to jus show how good they really are. Would be fun to have a content to have like Rory and Jordan each team up with a regular 15hdcp golfer and then have a net score showdown, haha. I know that as a football fan, I could never, ever, root for a team that had Brady and/or Rodgers on it. I was a Bucs fan up until they sold out and brought in the anointed GOAT. Count me out.
