Has anyone made their own ferrules? 

I've been given some lovely acrylic pen making blanks and I thought it would be pretty cool to make some ferrules out of.

This is one of the pen components:

I've got the kit at work to do it but wondered if anyone else has done some in the past. If so, any tips on how to do them/sizes etc? 

I'm hoping I get selected for the Nippon shaft test as that would be a perfect time to do it (😉 mods)
