Putter Length

Recommended Posts

Hey quick question,

So I am 6' 2" and currently gaming a 33.5" putter. Thinking about adding an extension to it in order to not be so hunched over. What would you recommend as a good putter length. Tried a 35" putter but was still hunched over.

Thanks for the help.

I am 6'5" and find a 35.5" comfortable with my arms hanging freely.

If you've never been fit for putter before now might be the time -

Even if the people who answer are the same height as you putting styles are very individualized things, arm lengths differ, etc.  I'd highly recommend getting fit for a club that you use 25-35 times a round.

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

Body proportions, stance will play a roll in length.

Seemore putters has a pretty good fitting tool that would give you a good idea of what length would work for you

I am 5'7", and I use a 29" putter, that I butt trimmed from 33". Tried to use it as a 33", but did not get my eyes over the ball. This is the 2nd putter I have done this to. I had an old Carbite ZH that I cut to the same length. So, when I got my new Cleveland HB 11c, it just was natural to cut it down. Felt too upright when it was 33". I use a SuperStroke CB 2.0 for a grip, and it is very comfortable for me. I miss putts, but just bad aim...
