Well, with the green light from the wife to get an entire new set… my mind has been wandering.  The fact that I’ll be on the pacific coast, and likely playing in some wind, and on some links style courses I have a few ideas rolling through my head.  It is quite possible that it will end up being totally different… and I will be working on lowering my ball flight along the way, and some more pitch and run style shots… which I’m terrible at.

What do you think of Option 1 and 2…? yeah the 3 wood is missing, I hate them, the 14° hybrid should be more than enough. yes I’ll be getting fit for this set.

I'd go bag 2 but, maybe, a blended 223/225 iron set? Well, that was if the 225 were available in LH

I’d go bag 1, but that is because bag 2 has Mizuno clubs and I don’t hit them wEll.

HMMM I like the driver part as in what ever works---- Irons not real sure on because I am not familiar with Mizuno's except MP-33--- Titleist 690 MB I can hit in a pinch. Putter yes I can always go with certain Pings----- But anyhow ignore me I have been drinking beer believe it or not

I would not go with either bag. I would hit all possible brands during my fitting and then make a decision.

They both look good, I really like #2, but take it a step further and hit as many different clubs as possible. Something out there may not be on your list but may just be exactly what you are looking for.

I've seen your swing over the years on video and I think it's fair to say you'd agree with the 225's.

I wish I could find my swing from the i200 review.  I lost it, it was the best swing I’ve had… it’s in there somewhere, just have to find it.  Currently getting nice push I can’t get to turn over… the season is young.

I understand and have a couple of brands that don't fit my eye. Hopefully you find a set that takes your game to the next level.

Pretty simple, get fit and get what works best with your swing.  Not so simple part, don’t try to make dramatic swing changes once you  get your new set.

True, I should have specified… hopefully through equipment changes to lower flight, (shaft, iron type, etc.) Not super swing change unless I still hit moon balls.  Playing more knock down type shots.

I've become a believer.  Serially underrated as a manufacturer imo.
