EasyPutter
So many memories stirred by the photos (all of them) and time is cruel at how fast it passes when it seems like it is dragging day to day. Blink and it is a year, then it jumps from before schooling to elementary, then middle and high school. My babies are now adults not yet done with college with one doing her Masters Business Analytics and the other with one more year in Mechanical Engineering Technology - looking back is missing everything that went before, looking at them now is seeing them blossoming as adults celebrating accomplishments, and going forward is the best show on Earth and one I don't intend to miss. Congratulations on #2 @GolfSpy_APH as this is the true purpose of who we are and more is definitely better. And as for being a Dad, who else is going to throw your kids up in the air to prove to them that they can fly?! Part of the taken 6 and a quarter years ago in their high school years. Son is a natural golfer who plays best when he doesn't think about it. Daughter played golf for her high school team all 4 years and not much since - and told me recently she only played varsity golf because I asked her to. A good reminder that we don't choose who it is we get born into the family but we do choose what we do with who we get and how we foster their talents. GolfSpy_APH
Started swimming lessons with the little guy. First day went really well for him and he has really taken to the water. It is really fun to be part of this and some great father son time which I really appreciate. I am a little sad that we will be missing one of the weeks, but we will also be in Disney for his first birthday so I think that is okay! GolfSpy_APH
Have to add go this because it was like clock work. Ivan loves mickey mouse. Gets all excited anytime he sees him on tv. So we made the point to make sure we did one of the meet and greets here in disney for his birthday. Thankfully we did that right away and he freaked out (in a good way) however literally every other show or meet and greet we did he fell asleep before and woke up shortly after. This included Balu, mickey again, the fireworks show (altho he did see the drone show) and a few others. We couldnt help but laugh. GolfSpy SAM
IMG_3958.MOV Loving this thread!!! My oldest (Winslow, 7) is currently at the skate park trying to get past her nerves long enough to get up on the board and really skate - it's pretty incredible she can do it at all, considering I can't be trusted with any wheeled/bladed apparatus on my feet. While she's in class (where my wife is watching), I'm in the big grass field next door, where my youngest (Xavier, soon-to-be 3) is practicing his short game. He's...a delight to watch. He genuinely seems to love swinging, and I can't get enough of when he holds his pose after follow-through: it's genuinely good form, lol. That is awesome, an exciting time for sure! I remember our oldest never truly crawled, he did more of a scoot, it was hilarious. He has always had a head circumference measurement in the 99th percentile, so we joked that he never crawled because he couldn't hold up his noggin well enough in that position won't be long now till your little man is cruising around all over the place on two feet! tony@CIC and GolfSpy_APH 2 Quote Driver: TSi3 9* Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6X Fairways: Aerojet Max 3W & 7W MCA Kai'Li White 60 Stiff Hybrid: King TEC 3H MCA MMT 85g Stiff Irons: Aerojet 6-GW KBS $-taper Lite Stiff Wedges: Snakebite Black 52/56/60 Hi-Rev 2.0 Black Stiff Putter: Super Select Newport 2.0 Ball: Tour X & ProV1x #LeftyGang Cobra 50th Anniversary Member Special Challenge (link here) Unofficial FootJoy Hyperflex BOA 2023 Review Unofficial Flightscope Mevo Review

I proceeded to ask questions, what their names were (Eva and Boba) and where they lived (Hawaii)….. kids be wild…… When my daughter was in her single digit years, she used to see spirits and it began when my mother, her Nan passed away. She would be doing something like playing with her Thomas trains or reading a book and suddenly look over towards the stairs then go back to what she was doing. I picked up on it and asked her "who is there" and she would say something like "it was Nan going down the stairs." She called me to her room once and said "they are making so much noise I can't sleep." I asked her who and she said "the guys in the attic" and I asked her what they were doing now, and she said "nothing, they don't like you so they've gone away." The day my father, her Granddad passed while in hospice, she had visited him the night before and I passed wife, daughter and son leaving hospital when I arrived from my flight halfway across the country with my brother who met me at the airport. We were with dad when he passed and returning the next morning the children were playing with Thomas trains and they asked how Granddad was. We had explained to my daughter when Nan died that she had gone to make tea for Jesus that helped her understand she had died so my response was he had gone to help Nan make tea for Jesus. Her look was contented while son burst into tears and had to go off by himself for a while with his stuffed penguin, something he always had with him while sitting with his Granddad. I asked daughter if she was alright and she said, "oh yes and it explains who it was sitting with Nan comforting (my son)." I gave her my usual dad look and said "I was just sitting next to him and they were here?" She said "yes they were on either side of him and I didn't recognize it was Granddad because he looked so much younger." I couldn't resist saying "oh sure they're looking after him while I am right next to him, what am I chopped liver?" and her response was golden, "oh they aren't worried about you." All proofs to me there are things going on around us that we are not aware of but sensitive people are. Exactly, what started it all was her suddenly looking up as if seeing someone and I would look and never see anyone. Then she would soften and look happy and go back to what she had been doing without making anything about it. I knew something was going on and like my mother she was connected to something I rarely experience. My mother always knew when something was going to happen before she should have known. In my early teens on a 1970's sunny weekend was helping mum with a front flower bed when she suddenly got up and said she would be back. 10 minutes later she was back cleaned up wearing something nice and a car pulled into the driveway. A woman she knew got out saying she was just passing by and thought she would stop. Just one of countless things she knew about before it happened. So daughter seeing spirits, nothing unbelievable for me, or Mark's daughter remembering previous life. Could make for a great 19th hole thread. GolfSpy_KFT
So I was gone all day for a conference at work, and my lovely wife and children decided they were going to set up some pranks for me for when I got home. The first two I saw coming, but did the dad role and played along to the enjoyment and belly laughs of the boys. They tied a $5 bill to a string and left it outside the door for me to “pick up” and then put Saran Wrap knee height on our bedroom door to Trip me. The real kicker was a prank I DID NOT see coming at all haha. My wife likes to bake banana muffins with the boys, so they baked some muffins. They put chocolate chips on one in the shape of a “D” and it was extra big. It was special for me since I was gone all day. Little did I know, until I bit into it, that they chopped up some onion and put it in there Their reaction was priceless and it truly caught me 100% off guard. My wife got it on video, so I’ll get it from her and post it so that you can all laugh at my expense. Gotta love April Fool’s Day! GolfSpy_KFT
Little update on our oldest…he was still feeling kinda lousy yet today. Low grade fever and a sore throat, so we decided to take him to the walk in clinic. Turns out he tested positive for strep throat. First run in with this for us. 10 day prescription for amoxicillin should have him back on track in no time. Now just sanitizing everything in the house so that his little brother hopefully avoids it.
