Golfspy_APH New Irons In The Bag

After a long while I have finally ordered a new set of irons. This is big for me as I've LOVED my i210 from MGS testing and had a great amount of success with them. However it was time for an update. After superspeed training the nippon 105 shafts felt a bit softer and instead of just updating the shaft I figured I'd treat myself to a new set. 

It will still likely be 2 weeks before they arrive and figured I'd have some fun with this as a teaser to see what everyone thinks I took a dive into. @GolfSpy_BOS @Golfspy_CG2 no cheating as you guys know what I got!

Maybe in a few days or so I'll open it up to see if anyone can guess the specs I went with. 

The only hint that I'll give is that I did a self fit with these. Didn't have the time to do a full fit with someone. Thankfully I know my swing and specs well enough that I can make an informed decision and place the order with confidence.

I went with the cop out answer and voted for the Ping i525. I know from seeing past photos of your bag that you've gamed Ping irons. It was a tough poll to vote on just because there's so many good choices. I'm hoping it might be the Cobra, Titleist, or Sub70.  Whatever you are getting, thanks for putting up this post and I can't wait to see the big reveal.

Okay go ahead and knock it, was a Lefty fan then before the wheels fell off   rangefinder still helps me know when the group ahead is out of range.

I'm more interested in your shaft selection being as you feel the 105's are now soft feeling due to your speed training. Can you share what you decided to go with?

I ended up going KBS Tour V 90 Stiff. I've used the Tour V 110 and CTaper and just overall had good luck with KBS in the past. 

I know I do not get on with the DG and xp95 were awful for me so I avoided those.

I believe the KBS Tour V 90 stiff will be more stout than the Nippon Modus 105. So, you should be happy with your choice. I use the Nippon Modus 105 in my irons and the Nippon Modus 115 Wedge shaft in my wedges and love them. The feel is phenomenal to me. Good luck and lower scores with your new irons!

Sadly the exact head I wanted was on backorder for another couple months, so rather then waiting I've gone forward with a different finish which will be built next week/sent out shortly after and hopefully here for early August. 
Could be worse and in the mean time the i210 will get some more play!

Ahh but remember I'm in Europe...
