fixyurdivot 18,196
Why does this event sound like a major and why isn't the sponsor Guinness instead of Genesis? The Genesis Scottish Open is our next stop on this long 2022 campaign. I'm still trying to figure out "the field" list - which is a little different than our normal. Min Woo Lee returns as the defending champ in what many consider as the tune-up event for the following weeks 150th Open Championship. I've only seen Min Woo a couple of times and could be way off here, but he strikes me as a player who could start dominating fields sooner than later. To paraphrase my grand nephew... "that dudes gotz serious skillz". Oddly, as much as attending an Open event at St. Andrews would be a thrill, for me, this event would seem just as thrilling. Maybe it's just that I really enjoyed the couple of albeit brief visits I had in Scotland. Plus, I'm guessing the gate fee and beers are WAY cheaper . Don't forget to make your pick for this weeks winner https://runmypools.com/JRMPNWWF. Good luck! 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)

The old sponsor was Aberdeen Asset Management a large European financial/pension company. They merge with another company and some marketing genius came up with a new company name "abrdn", the joke was they had been disenvoweled. Seems like the wind has been blowing 25 to 30mph all season in Scotland so be interesting to see the scoring. 2 Quote WIMB Driver Callaway Epic 10.5' Fujikura Stiff 3W Callaway Epic 15' Fujikura Stiff 3-AW Srixon Z565 Nippon Stiff 52', 56' Cleveland RTX 585 Wedges Putter Taylormade Rosa Daytona Bags 2017 Callaway Org14 Cart bag or 2018 Srixon Z start Carry bag
fixyurdivot 18,196
@@@Breaking News@@@ Ian Poulter allowed to play Scottish Open after ban lifted - BBC Sport I just caught part of this on TGC and it listed other players as well being allowed to play but not sure who. I think there were about 8 total players who were affected and qualified to play. Still quite early to tell how this all shakes out over the long haul, but this suggests a crack in the PGA/DP Tour egg.
