Golfers that Live in Myrtle Beach - Seeking Input

I'm in the process of buying a home in North Myrtle Beach.  I currently live in PA and play in weather that most find too cold.  I have a "Mr. heater" that can go in a cart for those really brutally cold days.

I'm trying to figure out if I should sell it before I leave PA, or take it to NMB with me.

Any local advice?  I obviously know it's much warmer for most of the winter months than up north.  Just trying to figure out if the heater will get me an additional 3+ rounds in a year.  Around 45 degrees I start thinking about the heater depending on the wind.

I don't live in Myrtle Beach but I've been there... and points south.  Take the heater.

I was there mid March. While it wasn't like Florida in winter, it was certainly warmer than NE Ohio and PA but I'd still take the heater for January.

@BIG STU  you are probably the best person to answer this.

I did a web search for averages and here is what I found but obviously how it actually feels may be different.

Take the heater because it can be iffy. Most years the weather takes a turn for the worse about the 2nd week in Januarary. Last year it was warm through Christmas. New Years Day we played the New Years Shootout in shirtseeves. Next week it turned cold and nasty and with my back and knee issues and I did not play for 2 weeks. Our worst weather when we get Ice Etc is always after New Years but not all years. Here can be a crap shoot

One thing I will add-- I have been to Allentown a bunch of times. Your cold is more of a dry cold here on the coast it is a wet bone chilling cold. The wind is also a wet wind depending how close you are actually to the ocean. I live on the South end about a mile off the ocean as the crow flies plus I have a lake in front of my house. When we get the winter Ocean wind it is downright wet and cold
