How long do you think it will take me on Saturday morning to get there from Compass Pointe?  Waze is saying 45 minutes but I know that's a busy route with folks going to OC over the weekend.  I don't mind leaving earlier so I don't have to rush to the course.  Thanks and looking forward to meeting some new golfers and drinking buddies.

For the Lakes, The Greens are the equivalent of the Blues, the Blues are the Blue/Golds, Blue/Gold is the Gold and Gold is the White. I'll post yardages, slope ratings, everything in thread here in a minute.

If this is supposed to make sense then I am not smart enuff to be part of this outing?!?!?!?!   

Maybe somebody can just point me to the appropriate tee on each hole!

Barry. I made it there Monday in just about that exact time.   They said since it’s a Saturday AM and we are talking Bay Bridge.  I would seriously allow 1:15 to 1:30. minutes minimum.   Better to be early than miss a tee time.   But I always error on the side of caution.

Basically play whatever tee you feel comfortable with.

Meant to add.  Wherever competition is or isn’t part of the rounds will be small enough that nobody should complain about the tees Simone else is playing. B

Unless @MDGolfHackergoes through with his threat to play the ladies tees.  Then all niceties are out the window

Had a really cool thing happen today while playing 9 at my home course Cazenovia GC in South Buffalo, NY.  Played with 2 guys I have played with before, more nodding acquaintance and golf foursome players recognizable by sight (still not sure of names as bad as that goes) and one remembered conversations from before including that I write about golf.  When we were finishing on the 9th green, they saw another golfer they knew and he came over for a chat.   I introduced myself and one of the two introduced me to their friend as a golf writer for MyGolfSpy.  We had talked about weekend plans and I had mentioned that as bad as I was playing (yes Hayes I am going there) it hopefully would get out the problems before my round with fellow forum writers in Maryland and the conversation went on a while.  It fit because he had filled me in a couple holes earlier on a golf trip they had made to Cross Creek Resort in Titusville, PA that was the conversation of his anticipation for the trip that was to be the day after our last round together.  I hope he was right that today's round excised the Ju-Ju out of my game (and horrors it was a  white ball  that ended up bottom of Cazenovia Creek where it crosses the 9th fairway).

That’s funny. Titusville is where my wife is from; she’s there right now with the kids actually.  I’ve played Cross Creek many times.
