Mitsushiba Putters

Recommended Posts

I think this was a Japanese brand that made a brief appearance in the US in the early to mid 1990's; nothing special, but decent clubs.  Mitsushiba's parent company was Paragon, and I think they still make clubs under the Paragon name; mostly boxed sets.

This was about the time that companies were experimenting with putter face inserts, and the dimple design was supposed to get the ball rolling without skidding first.  Lots of other designs followed, of course.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I know in the UK they sold Mitsushiba sets back in the early 00s. I bought my son a set of ladies clubs when he was young from one of the big UK sports store it had a similar putter in the set.  Found photos of when I sold them, similar putter but PSO-15 c.f. users which is a PSO-18image.jpeg.65fc18dd67bbce96b17045bcf26b2a83.jpeg
