I hit a friend of mines Gen 4 last winter in Yuma and it felt pretty darn good.  No idea why I would think it would outperform my G410P but it's got me thinking.

I played the gen4 last year for a short stint but the AV on the crown got me. It was good but not good enough to overcome the crown. Really tempted by the Gen5 though.

I've bought quite a few PXG clubs in the past couple months and then this sale happens. Just my luck lol.

I did use the sale to finish off the long game part of my new bag by picking up two GEN4 hybrids though. Should be here by Wednesday.

Very true.  TaylorMade will sell you the relaunched M4 driver for $300, but you can't customize it.

For $299, it's almost (stressing the almost) worth taking a flyer on the Gen 5 driver and testing it out for 60 days - that return policy is pretty ridiculous.  If it outperforms my Cobra from a few years ago, I'd still get a little bit of money back on eBay for it - making it even cheaper.

I'd want to go for a fitting, though - not sure if the XF would be the better fit, or the standard with a weight kit.  Plus I'd want to test the shafts, considering the driver's so cheap it might be worth the upgrade path.

I went in to PXG to get fitted for the GEN5 0811 XF Driver and walked away with a fitting for a GEN4 0811 XF Driver. Five rounds later I can say that this was the best club fitting I have had yet. I love the Driver and my confidence level with my driving has never been higher. Arccos results show 10 to 20 yards more distance and more fairway accuracy than the PXG 0211 Driver I had previously.

Kind of awesome they didn't try to immediately upsell you into the Gen 5.  Very impressive, really.

You almost think they have to. They can't let that get ahead of them.

Ive never swung one of their clubs but some of the price points put them in line with DTC's

I filled out the top of my bag with Gen 4s and haven't regretted it at all. Some of the best feeling fairway woods I've owned. The driver is great too, and going PXG saved me $500+ over TM, Calaway or Titleist. I was fitted between all four brands and they all performed more or less the same for me so it was a no brainer. I'm just a little bummed the GEN 5s came out 3 months after my purchase, because they do look nicer!

I've become a bit of a PXG fanboy. I've started to sprinkle more and more of their clubs into my bag. I have a 3-wood from them that you may have to pry from my cold dead hands one day. I also love their customer service. There are bunches of places near me to test their product and/or get fitted.

I would like that simply because I like supporting my local shop. The price differences between the big OEMs and the DTCs and PXG are making that difficult.

I gamed the PXG 0211 for 1 1/2 years then bought the fairway 0211 5 & 7 woods.  My next acquisition was going to be the 0211 DC irons when I won the Titleist T300’s….oh well, gonna have to wait on the irons…

I had a fitting last yr and then got hurt.  I bot a 0211 driver with an A flex evenflow riptide.  It felt great, and did outdo a Cllwy Epic on a Recoil F2 (A) flex in the fitting.  need to rehab from surgery now.  San diego fitter did a good job.  Cole Dorfman.  I saw quita a few ladies with PXG when I volteerd at LPGA event here in 2018 and 2019.  Not snake oil.  I think Parsons is pretty smart.

Buddy of mine hits a PXG driver (I can't remember which one) but man is it sweet watching the ball flight and the roll out.  PXG is definitely on my radar just because of that...oh and the price, can't beat that!

With the Gen 5 drivers on sale and free shipping and returns, I couldn’t resist. I’ll see if it knocks my Ping 425 Max out of the bag. Also ordered a 7 iron in the new 0211 XCOR2 to try.  Got a feeling it will be too low spin but you never know.

0211 Driver was legit, not the longest driver, but good all around. Imo, PXG makes good-looking clubs: and I’m a fan of anyone helping the consumer win. If you’re in the market, why not take a flier with that return policy?

I, too, have had problems ignoring the significant price reductions and the free shipping policy underway through Labor Day at PXG.   Getting a no questions asked 60 day return policy for a full refund is the clincher.   I've nearly pulled the trigger a few times on PXG stuff prior to this big sale, but the usual $60 shipping fee on even one club to a house and office that's a 20 minute drive away from the FedEx hub was just idiotic.    I've got a putter and two wedges on the way and if I like what I see and feel with that purchase, I'll jump in on something else as well before Labor Day.   I do like the looks of the Gen 4 0311 P irons.

Big sale for sure.  Ends Aug 31 or Labor Day.  The 0211 regular forged irons are $89, the Dual Core DC irons are $79.  If I were playing stuff i didn't already have fitted for me, I would go PXG.   I did get a driver last year.

0211 ST is LH only now and you cant get a 7 and 8 iron
