Looking to get valuable feedback on a new product!

Recommended Posts

I'm an avid golfer and I am trying to gauge interest for a product launch, so I am looking for anyone who would be interested in giving 10 minutes of their time in the name of golf innovation! I am an individual doing research on an early stage product looking to email, zoom, call or meet anyone who is actively playing golf more than 6 times a year.

Cheers

Matt

Welcome to the forum! I've said it before and I'll say it again, new product development is fraught with challenges and is not for the faint of heart. I wish you all the best in your endeavors!

You may have better luck gathering feedback on your product by posting product questions or ideas here directly. I'd also recommend browsing the comments made over in this thread about new product developments and thoughts on bags in general:

You'll have some bag manufacturing friends in Chicagoland: Wilson and their library of bags are headquartered downtown, and Zero Friction out in Melrose Park has some interesting wheeled bags. Tour Edge and Sub 70 near me in the west burbs have bag offerings too. Heck, I think Chicago is going to have the highest density of golf bags per square mile here soon!

Again, good luck in your project and happy to provide feedback on anything posted here!

@mynerds thanks so much for taking the time to respond, I have been speaking to Wilson and a few other companies as it happens. There's a lot of interest from the product experts and I am looking to connect directly with the people who have the needs on the course, the people. I have patents pending and I am at stage two of the prototyping process, so it's getting exciting. Time to see what the market really thinks!

(I will of course be looking at all of your previous on this topic as well)

Cheers,

Matt

@mynerdsThanks again for taking the time to give some valuable information. I did check out that company in Fresno, that's a very interesting bag/wheel combo. I actually have several secondary patents for cart products which will follow my bag launch next year, so it's interesting to see other innovations in the space.

Would it be possible to connect with you by email so that I can add you to my survey? I am not able to message you directly because of your settings, but if you would like to participate, please feel free to send me a message at [email protected] and I will add you.

Cheers,

Matt

Sent you a PM - Weirdly, my inbox isn't blocked. I'm not sure if the forum has a global setting for limited PMs for new accounts but if you can see my message then that probably answers that question.
