Putters with no alignment aid or a dot

Hello,

Just like the title says, anyone know of any putters with no alignment aids or just a simple dot? Blade shape is preferable.

Used? I think the Nike Method 001 has a small dot, and I think a Scotty Cameron Select at one point was naked or had a small dot.

You can order a custom Evnroll with an alignment aide of your choosing or no dot ($500)

The new Ping Anser Milled (the black one) comes stock with no alignment aide.  Any ping customer order putter (around $1000) can be ordered with an alignment aide of your choosing

Anything boutique, Ping PLD,  some Cameron’s, SIK, Odyssey/Toulon.  You just have to search older models or be willing to custom order.

You can custom order Evnroll, Ping PLD, LAB, Edel and Bettinardi putters with no alignment aids.

My Edel has zero lines on it, blade.

I believe piretti would do it as well. Mainly boutique putter companies. I like to remove the sight line even on a putter like a Scotty so it has a clean look. Past example.

Ah I see I was trying to find the Nike Method 001s lying around. Hard to find any in good condition

Yes, the only reason to buy an Edel is to go through the fitting, and it’s a great putter!

Yes, the black PLD Anser, retail at $400 plus does not come with an alignment aide.  I have a white fine sharpie and will be add one to mine.  Love the putter but feel the line might help out.  Love the milled face.  Great feel.  Good day to do it.

The original post was asking for any putters in this configuration.   Now you add that the price for a PLD is too high which means boutique is probably too costly as well.   Do you have a price cap you want to stay under?

I mean I was just looking at all the possible options. I am getting back into the game after 10 years away so I am building a bag back. Right now, I am looking at below $200. I The Ping one mentioned is one that I am actually considering now, but I was looking for a cheaper option to try the look out before committing a pricier option.

Thanks for the recommendation! Was considering just Anser style putters, but that putter looks really clean!

Look at the old Odyssey #6 style putters; they are blade putters with site dots.  I have an Odyssey RSX 2 (you can also find RSX 001 )that is naked that I picked up for about $200 and would rate it higher than the Ping.

I just found an older Ping Scottsdale putter in a junk bin...$45......no lines........works great but may look a little bad.....fits my game perfectly ......haha

Not exactly what you want but the older Taylormade TP Juno putters have no line on the flange and a short line on the top. The original odyssey #1 was like that too if I remember right. Some Pre Evnroll Rife designs had just a dot too. 
 

Probably can find some on eBay.

Dave Musty makes hi quality wood putters.  All hand made to order.  Usually some avail on ebay but each one started out in life as a hand made unique order.  you can visit his website  mustyputters  is a .net  Choose from several shapes, and everything is up to you.  Regular glossy finish wood is around $250.  fancier and logos etc can add more $.  I have one that I accidentally picked up at a flea market.  It was part of a take-it or leave-it pkg of 6 clubs the person was selling.  when I finally tried the Musty after ignoring it for a few weeks, I was surprised, it is not a decor piece, it is a real putter.  Dave is a hi skilled cabinet maker and a golfer.  I also have a Scotty Futura X with the double wing counterweights.  I practice with both but use the Musty more and plan eventually to order a custom job, shaft/angle/lie/weight.  G luck.

I prefer dot or no line. Visually I get distracted with my putter line in contrast to my ball line. Club Champion is doing putter fittings for free in September so it couldn’t hurt to try it out!

Some of the older Odyssey Versa blades do not have any alignment aids (other than the white\black coloring).

Almost every T.P Mills Putter made has a dot.   The Dave mills workshop putters that mizuno put out a while back are awesome, at least to me.

Wilson Staff has the 8802 putter that has been around forever. It’s a classic that Arnold Palmer and other greats were using back in the day. It’s an unmarked blade putter. They revamped it and rereleased it about a 5-6 years ago and again this last year.

Then there is the milled putter that was released about 5 years ago. This is what I use and absolutely love it. Cleveland also has Ben Crenshaw’s similar version “Cleveland Designed by Ben Crenshaw”. Originally came out in the 90s. I don’t think they make them anymore, so you’ll have to check eBay.

I look at the hole when I putt. Problem solved. No distractions with dots, lines or anything else related to the putter head
