Srixon 2023 Zx7 & Zx5 MKII

Hit the conforming list today.  Smart move I think to keep name recognition of one of their most successful lineups.  They look lovely refined from the current models. The Zx7  mkii (to me) looks like a cross between last cycles Zx7 and the z785 with it's full perimeter frame.  Can't wait to hit them.

Will have to find the English version at some point, but outwardly they appear to have changed very little. It's a little unclear what the "mainframe" stamp means since it's on both the one piece Z-Blade and ZX7, as well as the two piece ZX5. Also, I didn't know about the connection with Dunlop and that they were a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber. I hope these find their way into the 2023 Most Wanted testing 🤞

Definitely doesn't appear to be a huge shift in look.    It could just be the quality of image but they appear to have markedly shift of mass toward the sole on the 7.  Seems more beefy.  They also appear to have beefed up weighting behind the sweet spot and shifted some mass away from the toe.   Should be interesting comparing the two when it hits the market.

My rep came by - the V sole is there but not as pronounced as it predecessors. The weight is moved ever so slightly with a cleaner bade.

The Biggest leap for them is the ZX4 this is a massive improvement to the clunky half baked version. It worked but just didnt look right to me. The new model is in line wit he ZX5 and 7 and looks fanatastic.

The woods improved too. how much remains to be seen.

Driver - 44.5" 5.0 flex 10.5 deg Graphite Design XC 6S GP MCC4+ 1 deg closed

Irons - 5-pw, GW stnd length 5.0 flex same grip 1 deg flat. Type low medium offset cavity back, no diggers

Wedges - 56 and 60 tour grind wedge spinner and mcc4+ grip 2 flat 10 and 8 in bounce

Putter - Makefield VS LH

Ball - truvis

Carried in a Sun Mountain C-130 USA bag - BE PROUD.

HC - LH but 85 is a good number, playing in Ohio.
