GolfSpy TCB
Round 1 (almost) int he books... Is this the turning point for Rickie Fowler for a comeback? Can Justin Lower back up his opening 63 with 3 more solid rounds throught the weekend? Will this be the start of Sahith Theegala's breakout year? Max Homa - Defending Champion sitting alone in 2nd - can he repeat? Good to see the first event of the '22-'23 wrap around season underway. King Tour - release date TBD I also like that he is moving back to the blade putter after some struggles on the greens last year. fixyurdivot
I think all the FTx owners who chuckled at kahl2069 for spending all of his $100 FAAB on Theegala this season will have him on their draft list next season . He was smiling at Homa's chip-in birdie, but I could tell he really didn't like to see that. Then Willett got over his 3 feet 7 inch birdie putt to win, I said to the TV and my wife (who was on Facebook with friends): "A million bucks you miss that putt." She watched. He missed. Then as he lined up the par putt for a playoff, she said: "What if he misses that putt?" Gasp! He did. Those were two very expensive putts!!! And the title of my wife's memoires... 3jackPro
Ugh. I was gonna drop $20 on Max to win when I make my usual weekly nfl and college football bets. Had something come up on Wednesday and couldn’t get to the sports book (casino regulated in my state) until Thursday after work. It is amazing how pressure effects us... even at the highest level... it was on full display on the 18th yesterday. Sadly, I am very familiar with that kind of out of body putting experience. Sadly, I am very familiar with that kind of out of body putting experience. I was sure he would have. He was so relaxed after hitting the ball close, especially after Homa didn't get his bunker shot on the green. After Homa's birdie chip, all of a sudden he was under tremendous pressure, and I knew he would miss that putt. However, I thought he'd make the par for the playoff. Shocking!!
