So combined is 90 Raw for +18, handicap still 26 so Net 64 at +8.  I am working at hitting like this as my normal game with a handicap appropriate for that level of play.  Might be on that path with current focus on slowing my backswing but the end of outdoor season is looming so no telling how the gains this year will carry over to next. 

Longest drive this week was 200yards which is not the highest for the year but it is highest for October.  If I count them right number of net birdies is 8 but I am sure  

Stellar round EP!!  and 6 rounds of 9 this week...  I thought I spent a lot of time on the course!!  But... I only see one round on the leaderboard...  Great playing EP... that will be a score that is hard to beat.

Played a really strong round for me today.  The putting woes I experienced yesterday were evidently helped by my middle of the night re-hashing of my round.  I realized (as I was lying in bed thinking about what could have been with the Saturday round... as we all do.... no??... Just me???  ) that I was focusing on a full backswing as I want to... but instead of making a back and through stroke with equal force... I was decelerating on the forward stroke...  I'm sure I don't have to tell all of you... that is death on the greens.  

So today, I concentrated on making an equal forward stroke to the back stroke... and I putted much better.  

I was also testing out my first round with the reduced weight Otto Phlex shaft... As I mentioned in that thread, I had my new shaft head combo tested on Friday and it came back as D2 swing weight - 2 SW higher than I wanted.  Since I have been having success with that SW since installing the L flex shaft -  I was a bit hesitant, but wanted to know if there was more gas in the tank.  I removed the sliding weight (8g) and measured 4g worth of lead tape and placed n the position my sliding weight was... which effectively reduced the head weight by 4g = 2 swing weight points.  I couldn't tell if I was any longer with this weight (longest drive today was 276... which is still in an area I'm not familiar with) but I believe I was tighter in my dispersion.  Easing back, or pressing to try and put a little extra in the swing... I was hitting it within the confines of the fairway.  all that to say... Love the TSR head and Love the PLB shaft.

Weather changed; 55º with wind 15-25mph and not much sun.  Shot EVEN par on the front nine; 37 and 3 OVER par 38 on the back nine.  One of my better rounds in the wind.  Two birdies; on the par 5 #6 (downwind) and the par 5 #13 hole (into the wind)... both about 12-15 feet.

Net  =  71
Birdies =  2 natural; 3 net for 5 total.

Long drive =  230y downwind

Bayou Club in Largo, FL. Our Halloween display might have been a whiff.

I had the privilege to play Leopard Creek Country Club on Friday 28 October.

Handicap: 5.1

Course Handicap: 8

Gross Score: 78

Net Score: 70

Net to Par: -2

Net Birdies: 5 

Longest Drive: 295m or 322 Yards

My handicap got cut down to a 4.8 after the round.
