i210 were VERY popular, so this should be set that does quite well. Improved sound and feel are always a positive for Ping irons as they tend to feel harsh vs other brands. Can’t wait to try these.

The traditionalist of me cringes a little every time I see that back cap (though I have 2 sets currently that have it 🤪 ).  I know it is about what is under the hood that matters and hearing that they have improved the sound and feel make me very intrigued.  Having said all that... these are beautiful irons!

I have been a crossover fan and user for sometime now. I rarely see them in others bags or reviewed and hope that this may change with this series. I may even take the dip and replace my g410 crossover with this one as I really like the black finish.

The feeling of these was better than other Ping irons I tried in the last few years, and the forgiveness was noticeable especially regarding to distance “loss” due to off-center contact. I’m looking forward to being able to get these on a course again!

Txg finally did a iCrossover review. Had a good view in them overall and pointed out the importance of the name change as well which makes sense. Going from a g series to i series it tells in a simpler way who it is targeted for. Hybrids falling more in the g series.

Btw Matty with 150 ball speed!

Took these to the range today… I’m saying it right now, these don’t “feel” any worse than my Srixon Z combo set. I hit the i525 and those felt harsh. These have a totally different feel. So good. If you haven’t hit these yet and are looking for new irons, you GOTTA try these. Again, just as I saw the other day, forgiveness/dispersion were really good, noticeable difference from the Z combos. I’m very impressed with these so far and I don’t remember a set being as forgiving for me as these have shown. The weight in the toe and the hosel seem to be doing exactly what they’re supposed to do.

Did you notice a big increase in spin coming from the Srixons which are pretty low-spin? Wondering if you had to move into a lower spinning shaft and/or ball... I remember with the 210s I was spinning them like crazy and didn't want to move into a C-taper/PX LS type shaft to compensate. I am definitely not in the market for irons right now...😏 but the first non-ebay/craigslist clubs I ever bought were i20s and part of me has always wanted to get back into a set of Pings and these look so sweet!

I didn’t have my Srixons at Ping HQ when I did the fitting, but I do think these spin more, but in a good way for me. Shafts came down to DG X100 and KBS Tour 125 (I think) and I went X100 based on feel, all other things were pretty equal. I don’t plan on going with a lower spinning ball, no need to because we got the spin exactly where the fitter wanted.

First range session yesterday with a swing that has three months of moth balls on it (youngsters, ask your parents) and these i230 irons showed their forgiveness again! I’m serious… I don’t know of another set I’ve ever played that showed the forgiveness these do. There truly HAS to be something real about the hosel and head weighting they’ve done to increase MOI. And the feel? Yeah, so much better than previous Pings I’ve played. There haven’t been many posts about these, so I’m curious how many have them and what they’re seeing.

Little Late to the party, Anyone hit the icrossover compared to the stealth line?  Either DHY or UDI.  Thoughts?

This is a spot in my bag I have a love hate relationship with.  5 woods I hit very well, but they go too far.  Hate the look of a hybrid, 2 irons can get a little too inconsistent on my bad days.  Recently got to see a crossover in person and it looked great, but I stand on the wrong side of the ball so I couldn't hit it.

The i230 wasn’t for me but if anyone is looking for a utility iron the icrossover is the best in the game this year in my opinion!

I went all in and couldn't be happier.....as @PMookie stated earlier,  these are Uber forgiving for a players with appropriate spin and above average launch in the long irons.

I've hit 14 GIR's the last 2 rounds each with 7 of the 28 being inside 5ft .... 2 -UW , Glide 4.0 54,  2-9i , PW and a 6i ....so an array of clubs that I'm throwing darts with!!!

I've only hit a 7 iron in the i230 and with a shaft I don't care for (Ping AWT), but the feel of this head is really, really good.   I'm on the hunt for a set with a shaft that's a fit for me.

I have always liked the crossovers and think the newest may be making its way into my bag... maybe. There are so many good options, but the ability to go flat and adjust the lofts make it so incredibly versatile.

I have the iCrossover (2 iron, 18 degrees) and its a deadly club. Great off the tee, easy enough to hit off the deck and hits a hell of wind shot when I need it.

Getting WHOLE bag dialed !!!
