It has more than just radar (so estimated distance, smash factor, etc.), but allows you to swing with no ball, which my current SC200 does not allow for. I'll be offloading the SC200 to offset the cost of the PRGR. Hope that helps! It's apparently super, super consistent, and usually a small (but consistently the same) percentage off from the big-boy units, at a fraction of the price. Yes I have found the unit to do well on swing speed and when I was on a quad a while back it was within a few MPH definitely worth it in my opinion. AndySP
I’ll be checking in either tomorrow or over the weekend too. What do you guys think about the timing of the test…before speed training or after? I feel looser/quicker after sometimes, but also more tired. Or should I just wait 24 hours and do it on an off day? Anyway, I made a bunch pf driver swings after a speed session a few days ago and I was a few mph slower (117-119), so I’m hoping for a better showing when it counts. Getoffmylawn
Progress check this morning at 112 mph. 3 swings after a warm-up but before my Stack Progress Check (which I'll post about in my Need for Speed thread...not sure exactly how to proceed...) 110, 113, and 113. AndySP
Thanks guys! I did the stack warmup plus a few dry swings until I was in the ball park, then 4 as good as I could manage because I got greedy. It didnt matter though because they went: 120, 118, 119, 120. So no matter which three I pick I’m at 119 for the check in. One mph slower. The grind continues I also experimented with videoing the prgr, (and my foot) during the swings for the folks who want proof because I wouldn’t believe me either, but maybe that should be reserved for the final checkup? I also did three more after the workout and they went 117, 118, 119. So not a huge difference overall. Lacassem
Well i ran 4x this past week. Got up at 5:30 and did 1.3 each day. Kept each about 12 minutes each. Shooting for 4-5 per week. Has allowed me to get some fantastic stretching in post one which is exactly what I was shooting for on top of the stamina portion. I am using an app called “Runkeeper” pretty inexpensive and tracks each one which is good. I set a goal to get to 3 miles per session by February 1st. Wish me luck. ifs been real cold in the morning, starting out has been dreadful but if I can do it now will get easier as it gets warmer lol. I still have been able to keep myself from checking speed so no update there ejgaudette, Vegan_Golfer_PNW and edingc 3 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review 2022 Forged Tec's Official Review Nitron Push Cart Official Review Rhoback Golf Attire (Unofficial) ParSaver Divot Tool (Unofficial) Taylormade SIM 3 Wood (Unofficial) WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Thank you to all those that have served/are serving and God Bless America
edingc
I was the different one as my baseline speed was based on hitting balls in a range/garage session so I'm keeping that consistent in my measurement. Got a chance to get out in the garage today for a nice hitting session and happy to see a little bit of movement. Top three swings 115.7, 115.4, 115.1 -> 115.4 average. I had a bunch of swings during my session at 114-plus, where that was top-end before starting Stack. I'm very happy to see my averages overall: 114.1 MPH / 166.1 MPH Ball Speed I also hit a new personal best ball speed of 173.3 on one swing. snicerz
Forgot to do my check-in swings this morning while I was fresh so I just knocked them out now (after practice and a full round before dark). 106, 106, 109 (no ball, PRGR) Average 107 mph. The Stack has been a bit of a beast. I'll update this post with my progress report in a bit. All I can say is that Phase 3 was tough with every session being only Max effort swings. Can't wait to see what Phase 4 has in store. Regardless, I've definitely added speed and of course distance. It's been interesting when things click. All of a sudden, I'll be hitting everything long and will have to re-learn distances. I'd say at this point, I'm around a 1-1.5 clubs longer on everything. i.e. my 8 goes about as far as my 7 used to. P.S. Anyone else notice that the Stack espeed is a little under their actual driver speed? I peaked at 102 on the espeed but my actual driver came in at 107 after a long day of golf. I realize it is only an estimate but just curious what others are getting.
