That's where I noticed it, but I didn't want to ding you guys, Hireko makes some really good and nice looking products. Still, $3.95 may be a bit steep for this thing :lol:

I've seen the Hammer, but I'm not sure anything looks as ugly and awkward as this:

If it gave additional distance or greater accuracy, it would be in the bag. Frankly, I could not care what it looks like as long as it PERFORMS.

Wow!!! I wished I had not opened up this topic so close to dinner. We TRIED to sell those Hippo drivers at the old golf shop ended sending them back to Hippo. For kicks and giggles we had a ugly club room where we had a couple of Hammer drivers ( bought in bulk at a couple of estate sales) along with a Hippo demo and a set of Cleveland VAS irons. We had a warning on the door no women and children allowed enter only if you had a strong stomach. We got a million laughs out of it

+1. If it comes in pink and after the impact it sings the lambada and sounds like the hammer, but keeps a straight line, they can take my money!

New candidate for ugliest driver - the Norwegian Troll! I´m not kidding. It´s called Troll and made in China for a Norwegian golf company/online store. No pics at address. Sorry. Will post if I find one - must be a pretty funny sight :)

I had to Google the VAS to see how they looked. It'd be wrong of me not to share...

I also stumbled upon this driver, which has forgiveness written all over it:

I have one of these which has been in my closet since the 80's (I knew a guy who was helping with the distribution). It actually is pretty forgiving, and very very hard to slice. But they were pretty fragile with the heads notorious for cracking in two. Plus they are super ugly.

 

I had a VAS 5 iron as well! Got it free from a Cleveland give away in Golf Digest. It was instantly the best club in my bag that season. But I could not bring myself to buy a whole set.
