4 more yards. And no, I don't believe they add 4 yards. I just like the consistent tee height. They last forever. My wife loves Martini tees. They also have a version that provides consistent tee height.

Use wood tee for par 3 or when teeing off with a 3 wood. We have the small tee box to throw broken tees in to so that it doesn't ruin the mower.

Driver: Callaway Epic 9 degree, stiff (set at 10 degrees with the movable weight in the center}

FW: Callaway Epic 3,5, heaven wood w/ regular shaft (driver shaft in 3 wood, 3 wood shaft in 5 wood, 5 wood shaft in heaven wood, all three set at neutral plus 1 degree)

Hybrids: Callaway BB19 4,6,7 (4 set at neutral plus 1 degree and 6 and 7 set at neutral minus 1 degree for gapping purposes)

Irons: Callaway Rogue ST Max 8, 9, PW

Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM6 50,54,58

Ball: Titleist Pro V1, 1X, Vice Pro Plus or anything I find that day and try out for the fun of it (I haven't bought balls with my own money in at least 10 years)

I use what is called to "Champagne" tee. Gives me the same teeing height every time. It is nearly indestructible, I bought 5 and still have them after a year

I just wished people would pick up the broken tees.

I like to think of those broken tees as the unspoken economy in golf—sort of like the add-a-penny-take-a-penny tray at the cashier.

I use Western Birch wood tees.  I push them into the ground deeper than they need to be and then pull them up to the proper height.  If the ground is really hard, I'll wiggle them around a bit to loosen the hole.  They tend to pull out instead of breaking when I do that.  Tees will last several rounds. Usually I stop using them because the head is beat.  I rarely snap the shank.

I bought a small bag of Martini tees, if forget how many years ago, but I'm still using the first one I took out of the bag. Simply unbreakable, for me.

The only time I use other tees from the "tee collection" I've built up over the years is when I'm practicing off of a hitting mat using a simulator over the winter, or at the practice range.

I also used to think that the Martini tees were goofy.  Then I found one and gave it a try.  I've now been using the same one for about six rounds.  Hit 12 fairways last time out; so there's no way I'm going back to "normal" tees.  They certainly are durable and easy to use. The ridge makes it simple to get consistent height every time.   If you don't like the bright colors, they also come in white.

Most of the time I use the Pride Sports 3.25" Evolution Tee as the markings help me set my ball height right every time plus I use one tee until I loose it (About 4-6 months).  When the ground starts to freeze I go back to Western Birch 2.75" tees as wood doesn't bend like polymers when trying to press into the hard Colorado ground sometimes.  If the ground is frozen then I resort to my rubber winter stand tees .

I go with a plastic martini tee. Only because I found it on the tee box and have been able to use it for the last two years. For the par 3s where an iron is used, I use a very short wood tee.

Wait a minute. I just reread the poll above—does an anti-slice tea really work? And if you set it up wrong, does it become an anti-hook tee?

I played the plastic for a long while but I since went back to the wood .Trying keep the plastic from the damage it causes to mowing equipment and the grass and soil.. Plus it's stylish .    to see tees with lettering and paint schemes etc..

My oldest son found a pink Martini Tee on the ground one day and it instantly became his favorite.  One which he does not use often if he thinks he may lose it.  It cracks me up.

Nov 23-2020 MGS review of Martini tee review loss of distance-https://mygolfspy.com/2020-golf-tee-test/MARTINI

OBSERVATIONS:

In this golf tee test, we found no evidence to support Martini’s distance claims.

We found evidence to support a loss of distance.

Data suggests a modest reduction in sidespin. However, it didn’t result in shots that were, on average, straighter than wood.

OTHER NOTES:

The Martini tee is the easiest to tee up, which does provide a benefit for golfers with limited range of motion or shaky hands.

The Martini tee is phenomenally durable and its larger design and bright colors make it easy to find on the tee box.

There is a legitimate reason why it’s popular with senior golfers.

I like the plastic tee's because I consistently break the wood tees. I do need markings on the tee, so I can consistently have the same ball height.

In my case I didn't buy on the distance claim, I like the consistent height tee provides for driver and durability.  MyGolfSpy also did a tee comparison plastic vs wood a couple of years ago and found the wood tees are still the best off the tee.

Sadly your last point makes me realize I really am a senior golfer!  😭😂

I use the "3 yards more" plastic tee.  I tried them after my daughter, who just got a job bought them for me with her own money as a fathers day present.  I went out and figured I better actually try them, because she was going to ask if I had.  I also historically was someone who went through on average 12-14 wooden tees a round.

I went out and said I was going to use them for the entire round, which I did.  I have to be honest I found the uniform tee height, as these have a little stopper on how far they push into the ground to be a great thing.  Before I would just kind of stick the tee in the ground and really didn't pay attention to how far, and just eyeballed it.  I don't believe I got the 3 yards more but I find the much more uniform tee height great for me.  And I can get a minimum of 6 rounds out of one, if I don't forget to pick it up.

Good points everyone above on ease of use and assisting on correct tee height. When I read the review results on Martini tee loss of distance I am worried about that as I don't hit it long enough to lose any distance off the driver.  I wonder why that happens just from a cupped tee like Martini?

Our Club provides wooden tees and unfortunately people abuse it. New tee every hole and leave it laying around. Terrible for the mowers and I'm sure there is a cost associated with the waste. I use a Martini tee for the driver which I thought I would never use. Have had the current one in play for over 6 months and I play 4-5 times a week. Lucky to be in AZ. Bought a bag of the short wood tees as I don't have to push so deep in the ground to get the correct height on par 3's. Last a couple rounds before they chip and need to be replaced.

I had previous used a lot of plastic and went back to wood.

They just work and actually help give me a better indication on how I'm driving the ball with if I am breaking them or not!

I also prefer wood tees, as I’ve had plastic tees damage the club head.  But I use shorter tees (2 1/8”), and just barely put them into the ground, maybe ¼” or so. That way, the tee pops out of the ground easily on the hit. I will use the same tee for 2-3 rounds before it will break.  A bag of 100 tees will last me 3-4 years, playing 150 rounds a year.

Been playing these at 2 3/4" in the brite colors for the last 2 seasons. Very sturdy, and never a problem with hard ground. I can play one tee for rounds. I was playing the ZF brand 3-prong white 2 3/4", but they are hard to find at stores, and I don't like ordering off the net, paying shipping. These are not as sturdy as the Maxfli tees, but I did like them. Really low resistance as far as I am concerned. I used wood for years, but tried plastic, and never went back. I just like the durability of the plastic tees.

I prefer the martini tees that provide consistent height with the driver and the mini martini for my fairway woods and irons. I have been using the same 2 tees for over a year now due to their durability. The only need to worry about is finding them after you’ve made your shot.
