Peaksy68
Today is the start of an epic golf trip. Fancy charter flight from Melbourne is the start of it. Landing on course at Barnbougle to play Lost Farm (world ranking 70) Stay on site then play Barnbougle Dunes (WR30) Stay on site again then fly to King Island . 5 minute transfer to Ocean Dunes (Aus Ranking 13) Drive up to Cape Wickham for the night before playing the next day (WR55) I’ll try to keep updated on the go, but reception is a bit spotty and I may be having too much fun. Hopefully I don’t forget to take lots of photos like last time on King Island. 2 6 Quote 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy

Blaming the 3.50am start @Peaksy68We played both Barnboogle and all 20 holes at Lost Farm 6 years ago. My wife and I have great memories of both courses. We stayed on the Barnboogle side in the cottages. We wish we could have extended our stay and take the ferry over to King island. For those planning on a Tassie trip, book one of these 2 bedroom cottages - then sit on the front porch in the evening and watch the kangaroos as they jump out of the tall fescue. As Peaksy knows, you have to be a good bunker player to score well on these courses. This fairway bunker was just over 10' and the only way out was sideways. 6 2 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

The flow of the holes is great, conditions was excellent. Green complexes stunning. Rough start, 11 over on the front 9. Holes range from 95 yards to 340 Probably the most fun you can have on a golf trip. Well designed holes that make the most of some great terrain. Played 6 man skins. Peaksy68
Day 3 King Island Ocean Dunes Second trip here, still stunning. Tougher day with the wind getting up. Shot about 16 over playing off 8, not too bad in the conditions 10th hole. Was playing 190 yards to the pin. 6 iron 30 feet past the pin. Straight down wind, normal 6 iron is about 160 Great course that gets overshadowed by it’s neighbour up the road. A must play if you go to King Island 6 2 Quote 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy
Popular Post Peaksy68
Day 4 Cape Wickham Arrived late afternoon and the light put on a bit of a show. Stayed on course, the accommodation had a reasonably good view Golf was stunning. My game was variable. Rough start after some nervous swings, but got better as the round went on. The amazing views make it difficult to concentrate on your game. One of my best shots of the day, 8 iron to 8 feet and made the putt. Greens were firm but holding a lot more than last time I was here View from the 10th tee And the result, twenty feet from the pin on the green, 338 yard par 4. My mate was about 8 feet past the hole. He made eagle, tap in birdie for me Another of my highlights, 7 wood back into the wind on 17, 170 yards to 8 feet. Big breaking putt for birdie Drove it onto the beach on 18, unfortunately couldn’t find it so didn’t get to play one off the sand 2 8 Quote 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy
