Sorry to hear that Javs... I'm sure we will find another time to team up... maybe even a round together in person since we are both in the same state!!  Have a great weekend... hope the weather breaks for you soon.

It was soppy wet, and it was windy... but it wasn't raining... so I was able to get in my Friday Round for TEAM LONESTAR.  @daviddvm, I hope you had as much luck as I did getting your round in today.  

I played well considering the tough conditions.  My drives were plugging in the fairway, and the wind seemed to be in my face the whole day (as evidenced by the front of me - that looks like a mudflap on a F250).  But I was putting well, and was able to convert two good approach shots for birdie, and saved par on several other holes.  And we were able to get around in about 3 hours which was nice.

My longest drive today was 253 (one of the few down wind drives I had today).

Here's my scorecard to go with @JFish350's round today for team A Good Stuffing.   I thought I was going to be giving the stuffing, instead it looks like I was the receiver.  Wind had picked up and was cloudy so was very cold.  Couldn't hit anything right and wound up hitting things at 45° to my target many times.  Driver was working ok, but after that couldn't do much.  Ended up with a 125 gross on a par 73 for a net of 91.  Three net birdies.  Long drive of 251.

@fixyurdivot, I have a scorecard to match your missing one for team Gravy Train.  Know which holes you birdied?  @Golfspy_TCB, what's the call here on a missing card, or should he turn in his second round as it's still missing a partner?

Did well enough with a net -4 under par and 8 net birdies.  1 net eagle on a par 4.  Just missed the eagle on the one before.  Long drive of 255.

If you can re-create the hole by hole scores, we can figure out where you get the pops and get your team score posted with @Mr. Mushball.  We have all the info we need except what you scored on each hole.

No worries, I ended up with my best score of the year, 84. Long drive of 353 on hole 2. We played the Championship/Blue tees. 
I believe my course handicap was 14. 
I am the bottom score. Let me know if any questions.

I have updated the leaderboard and it looks like there are some good scores to beat (the scores posted are preliminary, as we will be performing double checks to ensure my first pass was calculated correctly)

There is still time to to burn off those Thanksgiving Day Calories and sign up if you are playing today and/or tomorrow.  So be sure to reach out on this thread if you need a partner.

When I say I was the anchor for Team Feast Mode, I don't mean just the last to post!  I wish I had poor weather to blame for my mediocre play today.  As a 13 handicap, I shot an 85 at my home course of Key West Golf Club. 

 

I had my first three putt in several rounds today.  The real reason?  An example of two wrongs don't make a right!  My playing partner was slow to get to his ball to mark it and I underestimated my putt's break.  As a result, I hit his ball leaving me about 20 plus feet away to salvage a two-putt bogey.  My longest drive was 190 yards.
