LA Golf- new ball offering???

Several weeks ago I received an email from LA Golf announcing a new golf ball offering from the company. It was a pretty detailed marketing piece with design imagery and spec's. It also included a trial offer. I responded to the trial as instructed but the LA Golf website did not provide the trial application and there was no information about a new ball offering. I made a follow on inquiry to the company but have not heard back. It was not a spoof because the website provided was LA Golf's actual US website address. Does anyone have any information about a new ball offering from LA Golf, and/or receive a similar email? Curious minds want to know!

I just came here to see if anyone was talking about this - finally had a chance to flip through my Golf magazine, and there's a two-page layout about the new ball, but I haven't seen anything anywhere else.  I'm VERY curious to see what someone's take on it is - especially considering that they don't seem to do anything half-ass over there.  I just went to the website and subscribed for more information on the ball, but there's no listing anywhere on the website for you to purchase or with more information, so ... maybe it's just "coming soon"?  

Also possible they are dealing (like so many) with supply chain issues and their launch has been delayed.  Who knows?  

Either way, I'm super curious to see how they perform whenever someone gets a sleeve!

I have had a message pop up occasionally that I can sign up and get a dozen for I think $15 shipping.   I know that @GolfSpy MPRgot a box and has sent some to Tony Covey to add to MGS ball lab.

LA Golf is anything but low priced. Their LA Golf Ball is going to be a heavy lift if it's priced at (above?) existing tour ball prices. It'll be interesting to see them bring these to market. As someone with two LA Golf shafts in the bag already; I'm a fan of the brand, but it's going to be a challenge to get me to move away from Titleist balls.

Hi, I saw the same offer, responded at lagolf.co and ordered the balls for a $15 shipping fee. Balls arrived in a few days and I have already played through most of the dozen received. I typically play Snell MTB-X and I would say it compared very favorably. My hope/suggestion would be if they release the ball for sale it would priced in the low $30's. #lagolf

Yeah. Brysons contract with Bridgestone is over. I'm sure he is heavily involved in the development of this ball.

After Tony’s initial assessment, it’s definitely not a ball for me. Soft, AND light, and add-in the challenges of constructing the layers properly. Nope. No thanks.

Great article by Tony on it and one that is worth checking out. Not what I had expected at all, but offers some great insights. Will be curious what results come up when they do a full ball lab.

Wow, not at all what I would have expected, nor do I think its something we will see Bryson playing.  Seems like this is going to be more of a lifestyle-luxury ball than a hardcore performance ball.  

Time will tell for sure, and I'm looking forward to the full ball lab results on that too.  Not that I'm expecting anything to really challenge the ProV1x in my bag, but It will be interesting to see the performance story on that based on what Tony saw.

Ultralight and in the two sleeves they found construction issues? I'll be staying away until any/all issues are sorted out.  Also, and I know this is premature, but given the rep of the company, it seems hard to believe these would be priced anywhere near "competitively".  

Very curious to see how this plays out!

I was able to get a dozen for $15 and put them to the test with a launch monitor at my local GolfTec. What we found was that the #'s were almost identical to my gamer(Chrome soft X LS). I have yet to take them out to the course to test the green side spin ETC.

As for the price, a friend of mine owns a golf shop and they will have a "suggested" retail of roughly $69.99 a dozen. Needless to say, once I lose all of these it will be the last time I play an LA Golf Golf ball!!
