Just a small update for the Member Streaks as we have had a few questions about it. 

A streak is when you have 3 days or more consecutive days posting. Now a day means 24 hour window.

Example: Post something at 9:00am you then have 24 hours from then to post again. Post at 10:00am the next day then the streak is broken. However post again later in the day say on lunch break at 1:00pm then your clock resets again. Hope that makes a bit more sense now for those who are curious or had questions. 

I have disabled the alert for letting members know where their streak is at and may enable it for a day or two, but for now I like how it is and it is there for those who find it cool and for those who don't care for it can just go about the forum as they normally do.

Just wait until @Shanksterhears about the streaks.  The post king will come back for a new crown.

Streaks have been updated once again so you will show on the streak leaderboard after 2 days vs 3 days.

Update no arrow down feature there are view content options that could help in your content behavior in Account settings.

In an effort to highlight certain areas of the forum and update our look a little bit we have added the Slider to the forum once again. This one however is not the stock version with this theme and allows us a lot more customization and for you the user, the ability to hide it if you wish. 

Below are some screenshots for you to reference if you are having issues. 

In the RED box there is a hide icon that will minimize and hide the slider for you both on mobile, tablet and pc. 

To unhide simply click the Show Header Slider in the RED box again and it will reappear.

Coming up soon we will be releasing the Masters Theme once again. It is rocking and ready to go with just a few final tweaks. 

We have temporarily enabled a background selector on the forum as well. This is for PC and I believe tablet only. Not available on mobile. 

Default is the normal background, however we have 3 other options to try out. 

To find it select the little paint brush up top

Then select your chosen background

Yes the Masters is there already, because well there are many who are eager to get to that part of the season as it marks the start of golf season!

The Forum Staff team has been hard at work on a number of projects and while some have been delayed due to other time and family commitments it will soon be time for us to roll out some of these feature to our focus group.

iOS notifications would replace the one feature I miss from the old app. 
 

Although… I’m on so much more now it might actually be annoying and unnecessary to get them.

As mentioned in the status a new update has been run. All went through as intended and is functioning, but if anything is noticed please let us know. The full version of all the updates can be viewed here for those interested.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

As the Gallery function is not used to the degree we would hope and we have recently run into several issues with it on back end functions for the time being we are disabling it and will look at who we can make future improvements on the system. 

For now please just post photos in the threads and as we work to a permanent fix we thank all who did put photos into it! 

We are sure it will come back, however for now it is causing more issues than value.

Maybe turn the Gallery into threads in the 19th Hole or other appropriate places?

Most people do that already truthfully. Last month all of 13 photos were posted in it and not many more in other months. Again it is a feature that really was hardly used. In the last year 149 photos had been posted there (I am sure I did at least half of those) and all of 3 comments. 

It may have been an area that was viewed, but with no real activity it is hard to justify keeping. I think we have enough threads already for all the appropriate places (pet pictures, pics from the course etc)

They aren't anything crazy important, but have been fun to keep and see who has been keeping them.

You can follow threads or not. But what he is asking essentially is an ignore Feature. Much like we have for members, but specific to threads.

Okay I have found a plugin for this. Just have to get approval from the powers that be to make the purchase.
