I saw this package on sale for their Black Friday deal and I'll just say this. I would have no issues playing it, I just think it would be stupid hard to find at times wouldn't it?

Love it. I just had a shipment from Vice show up on wednesday. They make really nice products at a good price. I'm in agreement with @GolfSpy_APH, I'd play those in a heartbeat. The Pro Neon Drip are great, the gold pro are great, my wife plays the vice drive and she loves them for a higher handicapper. Their gator divot repairs are really awesome too especially for $10

I’m a convert to Vice and picked up 5 dozen Pro Soft a few weeks ago and will more than likely pick up 5 more before the season starts. Absolutely love it. As for the black, I’d play it without any reservations if it performed and I could find it.  I sometimes struggle to find a white ball so I’m better a black one would be impossible for me.

I play the Pro Plus in white - great ball for the (5 doz) price. But black??? I think it'd be distracting especially off the tee.

I wouldn’t be distracted by the ball I don’t think but imagine finding them on the ground in the rough would be very difficult 

I do agree though that the 5 dozen price is great and the balls perform well

If anyone is interested Oncore is offering a buy 2 dozen get 1 dozen free. Also, if you are military, retired, law enforcement they have a loyalty program. ELIXR 2022 Under that program is 24/dozen, Vero X1 32/ dozen and VeroX2 40/dozen. That’s how I get them and they have free shipping under the program. So, another direct to consumer option.

I bought a dozen of the black ones.... absolutely impossible to find in the rough.  They are shiny, so if you can get the sun on them they are easy to find.  I do like to use them on par 3s and also putting.  They are novel and fun.  

IMHO, the Vice Shade balls are the absolute best for novelty and visibility.  They are so easy to pick up in the air and find in the grass.  Highly recommend!

When I started out on my local par 3 I used a black 8 ball like you'd get from a mini golf course because I didn't know any better. That ball was so easy to find on the fairway and on the green, the rough though... different story. I've also used the gold ones as well, which led to some interesting looks from playing partners. I also used the black Volvik Vivid for a round... that ball just isn't very good for me, but it was nifty to see the color contract for sure.

As someone who has a tough time tracking white sometimes, Vice definitely intrigues with the different color options, and admittedly I'm looking at patterns like Pix and Truvis for my 2023 ball selection so this one might not be out of the running yet.

A perfect world? Someone relaunches a urethane covered pink ball like Bridgestone did with the limited Pink B330RX. I'm playing pink golf balls with tour quality covers in a heartbeat if they get introduced, I guarantee you that.

I'd have no issue finding playing a black ball.  Heck, I've played with Srixon Divide, Calaway "soccer balls" and other multi-color/multi-graphic ball.  As mentioned above, it's not hitting it, it's finding it!  I guess encouraging people playing a black golf ball is one way to ensure continued sales!

I have been playing the Pro Soft in lime green for about 5 years now, It is a very good ball but in black I had better buy 20 dozen instead of 5. I think black would be hard to see n the fairway. In the rough never find it. That is just me.

I have a Black Vice Pro Plus; given to me because I have also played the Pro Plus Gold. Gold's are hard to find - I play the Gold on Par 3's I'm likely to reach. Makes for interesting conversations on the tee when playing with folks I have not played with before. Ping Ballnamic fit me into Pro Plus. like the red yellow shade and green balls otherwise.
