Thanks in advance. I went to a Club Champion with Veteran golf event and had chance to roll many putts with the dozens of putters they had lining the walls around their indoor putting green. From that experience I noted what worked for me and even which one of the design that worked for me. Luck had it I was selected to test one of those that rolled amazingly well and it is now my primary putter displacing my first ever putter that by a pleasant surprise has all of the same qualities the new one, the main difference being the design of the grip and it has a graphite shaft. Can't recommend enough having as many putters to try as possible including what you don't usually think will work with as much time as possible to relax and just see what they will do when you can focus on making your putt. cksurfdude, GolfSpy_APH and GolfSpy_SHARK 3 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First Strike Rattlesnake (10), TeelessTM (13), Tommy Armour TA1 3h (19), Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) Lovett (59) |> Flatstick: L.A.B. I'm long enough off the tee where a 3W really doesn't serve me very often as an approaching club, so I tend to use it most often as a club-down driver. But every now and then I'll thin a driver and need it, and then don't feel confident hitting it off the turf. Or because the weighting feels weird, I heel or toe it off the tee and I'm nowhere near the distance I needed from it when considering it as an alternative to the driver. It's just a messy club that I can't wait to replace. cksurfdude, GolfSpy_SHARK, RichL85 and 3 others 6 Quote Z785 9.5° | M5 3W | Sq Dymo^2 5W (just can't quit you) | P790 4-AW | RTX 4 56/60° | THEE White Hot OG Rossie (2006) Ball: Maxfli Tour X

There's a couple holes where I use it off the tee at my local course because of hole layout, but I will pull it on par 5s if I don't get a great tee shot and the Sim2 Max has performed much better for me in those situations than my M4 ever did. RichL85
All clubs in my bag are safe for the foreseeable future, but the grips are likely to get axed sooner rather than later. The standard PXG grips just aren't my favorite and I really want to go back to the SuperStroke Claw grip on the putter. The one questionable spot in the bag is the 3W, not because I have a problem with it, but more that at my usual course, I don't have a lot of need for it. There are a number of holes where driver and 3W off the tee are too long because of the dog legs, but only one hole where driver is too long off the tee, so the 3W sees at most usually two shots a round. I like the 3W and can usually hit it fine, but unless I start going to some other courses frequently, it's just an extra weight in the bag for the most part. One thing I really need to do for the upcoming season is decide on a single ball and use it consistently instead of changing every few rounds to "try something different". Hate to say it, but the coach I had been working with is definitely on the chopping block as of now. I was looking for that gap filler between driver and irons early in the 2022 season and I never had a good rapport with a 3W or any other W. Had been gifted the Tommy Armour #3 19* fairway hybrid a couple years before as graduation gift for a PGA HOPE Veteran golf clinic and decided it was time to give it a try. Pulled it out of the spares bag and peeled off the plastic and took it to the course. Wasn't long before it was doing exactly what I had hoped it would, and fit that distance between Driver and 3i very nicely . Even connected once off fairway turf to a distance I have never hit driver figuring it must have found a rock or something to bounce off... Only mentioning it as you are looking to replace and as clubs go it is a lightweight in the bag. sirchunksalot and cksurfdude 2 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First Strike Rattlesnake (10), TeelessTM (13), Tommy Armour TA1 3h (19), Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) Lovett (59) |> Flatstick: L.A.B. G56788
Overhauled my bag last season so most clubs are safe. My Adams Idea Pro Black hybrid is probably on the way out for something I can hit in the 210-220 range that will hold a green. I’m also looking at a Sub70 699U utility iron to have a non-driver option off the tee on windy days. I’d have to get fit for the utility iron. I’ve never hit one, and I have no idea whether to match my iron shafts or hybrid shaft. cksurfdude
Will_Mac
The only clubs safe in my bag are my wedges (Full-Toe 54° and 58°, JAWS Raw 48°) and a miraculously effective recent addition, a 19° Cobra RadSpeed One-Length hybrid. A 24° is also on the way but that's still to be determined. My Ping G425 Max 5W has a shot too. But amazingly, inexplicably, the little one-length hybrid hits it nearly as far as 5W. I know, seems impossible. So time will tell there.Driver's been a revolving door. Gotta give my TM 300 Mini another shot. Was money before another back injury in May. Of course they talk to each other and know there is no "time out" just permanent replacement so they are all on their best behavior. Even worse some are pulled out a couple times a year and teased like my Z Forged MB's but know they are going right back in the Room Of Misfit Toys. That said: Other than MIM's being replaced by Cobra King Tour irons and always the potential for my Sim2 to lose it's place after taking on all challengers successfully for 2 years now, I can't really see any other clubs being replaced. ole gray
Took my 50 54 & 56 wedges out of my bag and replaced them with the new Zipcore 48 52 & 56 wedges. After today's round I'm a happy camper. ejgaudette, cksurfdude, GolfSpy_APH and 2 others 4 1 Quote Ping G430 Max Driver 10.5 Degree Titleist TSR1 4, 5, & 6 Hybrids Titleist T350 Irons 7 - W48 Cleveland CBX ZipCore 52 56 & 60 Degree Wedges LAB Mezz Max Broomstick Putter / TPT Shaft (Platinum @ 45/78)

Driver is on the chopping block and while I love my irons I am open to tinkering cksurfdude and ejgaudette 2 Quote Stealth 2 Plus 9deg Kai' li Red Stealth 2 13deg Aldilla Rogue Silver Stealth 2 15deg Aldilla Rogue Silver JPX 921 Hot Metal 4-PW Nippon Modus 120s SM8 54 and 58deg Dynamic Gold Wedge Flex Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Titleist ProV1 Hoofer Stand Bag Stewart Q Follow Electric Caddie 300 PRO Rangefinder Official Nippon Regio B+ Driver Shaft Review Official Stewart Q Follow Review
GolfSpy_APH
With the new Mizuno wedges I am seriously considering going to swap out my Ping Glides for them. Will need to find them here, but it's that style of wedge that seems to really fit my ideals. My swing by the shop on Thursday and see what new they have in and what is available in lefty for testing. ejgaudette, GolfSpy_SHARK, cksurfdude and 1 other 4 Quote as of Nov 6, 2023 (Past WITB) Driver: Paradym TD w/ GD ADDI 6X Driver Shootout!
