LA Golf Prototype Golf Ball

I signed up for the free dozen #LAGolf prototype golf ball test@lagolf.co ($15 for shipping). Received them last week and put them in play this weekend. Overall the ball performed well. I do play in the desert (Vegas area), so a few minor marks on the surface appeared after about 5 holes...although they did not seem to cause any distance or control issues. My usual ball is the Snell MTB-X and I would compare this #LAGolf ball to it on distance, spin and green control.

Any plans @MyGolfSpy to test this ball?

I do know it is on the radar for a Ball Lab. However not sure if and when it will happen.

The is the most inside-baseball as I get: I was able to order a dozen. Tony Covey asked me to send him a half dozen, so that will be the source of the preliminary Ball Lab data. Should have those going his way in the next day or so.

I also was able to get a $15 dozen. I took them to an indoor simulator and compared them to the Callaway Chrome soft x LS and they were almost identical. They actually had a little less spin on the irons. But rumor has it that they will have a $69.99 price tag....
