Good questiion on the how man and first outings.   Here are just the few that I know of based on readng the forum for several years. 

Some of the original members/mods including  @GolfSpy Barbajo  @Mr_Theoo and possibly @MattF and @hckymeyer had one somehwere in ohio, or MI  I'm sure one of them can give the exact info. 

Speaking of Ohio, I went up and played with Matt, Mr Theo and @MaxEntropy in a small outing 3 years ago. 

In Texas @TBT and some members had one that a few guys traveled to for a wedding I think and played.   Dont know if @Golfspy_TCB was part of that or not.

Florida, Barbs  and MattF used to make an annual trip down to play with @fozcycle and a couple other guys down there.

About 4 years ago we had a pretty decent one in Maryland as well with @cnosil @golfinnut @MDGolfHacker @STUDque and some others, I think we close to 12 for that one, memory is failing me on the others that made it.  

 

I’ve played with Matt at least once a year for the last 9. @MaxEntropy has made the last 3 years. I drove down to Memphis to play with Bones, Zach from best grips and Rick.

The SLDR trip with MGS so a lot of guys. And then down to Texas for Zach’s wedding and golf

Regarding the Cradle. since it has been such a success, priority goes to PCC members and Resort guests. Actually best time to play is earlier in the day as after morning rounds and a bit of lunch, the Cradle gets busy as does the "wagon- which is now a shack" on the hill overlooking the course where adult beverages are served. The long afternoons in June get quite busy.

Which one?  All three on the list are really good, with one being the site of a recent USGA championship.

Oh man, I'm really interested but won't know for sure if I can make until I get back to work on Jan 3 (pending the REAL boss' approval, of course). @MattF @Mr_Theoo @DiscipleofPenick are any of you planning on trying to go so we can car pool?

Talamore Golf Course.

 

All of them look awesome, but Talamore looks really good for what I like.

I own one of the villas at Talamore, for 15 years now, so I've played both Talamore and MidSouth dozens of times.  Both are really good, and were in great shape when I was there a few weeks back.

Just an update, we have one Villa ( 4 players) filled.

Very cool to set this all up. I've got my money and vacation time in a Scotland trip at the end of may and beginning of june otherwise I would be all over this. Maybe a west coast swing next year?

Can someone tell me why I can't stop watching course flyovers on the three courses? I know it's not until June, but I can't stop myself. I need therapy.

It's hard to do that right now with unpacking and stuff, not to mention it's in the 30's. Temps dropping into the teens Sat ,Sun, and Monday. But I will get there well before the outing for sure.

Or possibly later in 2023

And no, that's not a hint or a promise, but just saying there are plans for 2nd one in 2023 if this goes well.
