Do you try Quick fixes like "Nick Faldo" 60seconds..

We've all seen lots of quick fixes to improve ball striking or gain 30 yards etc etc, have you tried Nick's 60sec or anything like it and what was the result?   I'm just using Nick as an example...

I'm guilty of watching utube video showing how to use this or that position to help improve this or that, I decided after trying a few things that for me with a body that's been used and abused for many many years I've NO choice but to stick with what I've got....

Of course I’ve done stupid things like that although in my day it was done article or instructional book that made golf sound like rocket science.

If you can find a good teachers lessons work well regardless of how old we are. Video lessons also work if you can’t find someone live. But a general “fix” is a pescription for disaster IMO.

Driver: Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60  R flex   - 44.25

Fairways:  Ping G410 5, 7, 9 wood  Alta CB red 65 R flex

Hybrid:  Ping G410  26 degree  Alta CB Red 70 R flex

Irons: Ping G430  7-PW, 45, 50 Alta CB black 65 soft R flex

Wedges:  Ping 195 S54, E58

Wedges and irons are - 1/2” and one degree flat

Putter: Sacks Parente Duke 32.5”

Ball: Titleist Pro VI or Callaway Chrome Soft X ls

While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course.  It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to.

I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67.

Have to agree with GOOD teachers which in my experience are a very rare breed indeed, in the past 6 months I've improved through my own coaching. I've slowed down and shortened my back swing but I've recently started chipping with a open face after watching Mrshortgame, I think it works for me so will keep practicing it, at my course sometimes you need to chipping over bunkers and stop quick...

If I were unable to find a trustworthy teacher I would buy the Stan Utley short game book - he offers very simple short game techniques and drills.  Where I live, Florida, good teachers are very easy to find but I know that's not true everywhere.  Good luck!
