I'm going Rahm. Just seems like he is on a mission this year and has something to prove after having a good season last year, but underwhelmingish by his standards.

Yeah, I agree with you there. Feels like the year of Rahm, so far. 

Although, I wouldn't be mad if Thompson takes it home. Kid has had a fantastic week.

Fairway Wood - :callaway-small: Warbird (to be replaced ASAP)
Hybrid - :taylormade-small: SIM2 MAX 19 degree, (not a fan, but getting there)
Irons - :callaway-small: Warbird 4 iron to PW (to be replaced ASAP)
Wedges - :taylormade-small: MG2 50 degree, :mizuno-small: T22 54 degree, :taylormade-small: Hi-Toe 58 degree

Any new winner on tour I think is good. Adds to some excitement and helps build fields. 

Just look at Z or Theegala among many others who many of us were really cheering for to get their first win and support after.

The courses sure look nice.  We have a range of mountains here (White Tanks) and several of the holes on our Cimmaron course have strikingly similar viewpoints. While golf courses and deserts don't immediately come to mind, they are indeed beautiful - perhaps because of the contrast. Thompson looking pretty stoic and unflustered. Will he be able to go mano a mano with Rahm and get his inaugural win... we shall see.

To say he's playing some good golf at the moment is a bit of an understatement:

That was a fun last round, and Davis Thompson certainly held his own against one of the greatest in the world.
Thompson's chip onto the 18th green was pure bravery and skill.

I think we're going to witness Rahm hoisting a lot of trophies this year.

I was just finally able to watch the final round of the American Express... I'll say this... Rahm is a scrapper.  Obviously wasn't on his "A' game but dug deep to hold off some great challengers coming down the stretch.
