Looking for a home practice net.

I have been looking at The Net Return Pro Series V2. It’s a bit expensive, but is it worth it?

Also check out spornia. We have had a few reviews on it here and testers have generally really enjoyed the product.

I bought this one going on 3 years ago now. It appears to be very much like your GoSports option.

When I bought it, I also purchased a separate net, but just that, a net. Anticipating the 10' x 7' set-up to maybe be too flimsy. I figured that I'd need to drape extra netting over the frame just to be safe. Well, the extra netting is still in its unopened box because the hitting net has been just fine as is. It's been kept outdoors the entire time, but on a patio with protection above. It's very much served its purpose.

I got one of the Callaway ones- it seems to be holding up really well and it wasn't too expensive - FWIW

I have the Spornia Mini (5x5 + top guard) and the Rukket Hack Net as my tear down units. Both have held up well but would probably recommend the larger of both:

I recommend going larger on the Ruckket just because with the standard Hack model, the middle of it sags down and makes me worry a little about my wedges. With the other two, the top is a bit more tight so you don't loose as much angle. 

Spornia has a larger net as well, but I will say even my small 5ft net leans a bit and would personally be concered that the 8ft one would just amplify the issue too much. There is a test that went on not that long ago on this forum though that may have better details about it.

I'm going to be another recommendation for the Spornia, if you're looking for something that's easy to set up and take down. I was in the first review group that tested the 7x7 net and really love it. There was another review done last year and would suggest checking it out and seeing what you think.

I bought the Spornia, and it's still in perfect condition - it's pretty remarkable, to be honest.  I got it during a Black Friday sale a few years ago, and it's held up incredibly well.  Because it's deep (almost L shaped, but where the top angles back towards you), with a vinyl (?) target sheet so the ball never actually hits the netting (I mean, unless you're like me and like to "test" the hosel...), which extends the life of both the netting and the balls.

Highly, highly recommended.  

The only trick is putting it away - and honestly, just watch the video a few times that they link to in the packaging, and you'll have it in no time.  Folds up flat, lives in my garage when not up, and sets up in about 2 minutes (if that).

Yep, I have the Spornia XL as one of the testers, I am using it 2 or 3 times a week now in the offseason along with my Mevo it makes for a nice practice area.   

I have it set up in the covered pavilion that we use during the seaon for post golf meals,  I leave it out on the floor but just take down the two side support rails, so it's not exposed to the wind or in view of any mbody drivng past it in off hours and drawing attention to it.

From that point it sets up and goes down in about 30 seconds.

I’m considering the 5 feet model for a section of the garage. What do you guys think about hitting hybrids and irons with the smaller 5 feet model?

I don't have experience with it. But I can say the Spornia is very well constructed.  I think as long as you are close enough to it, to not miss you sholdn't have any problem.   Unless you're wanting to use a LM that may require a certain amount of distance.   

For a point of reference, I have the 8 fott net about 12 feet away from our hitting spot onthe mat, as the MEVO requires at least 8 feet.  Several of us have hit driver at swing speeds from 85 mph to 112 mph and nobody has missed it or knocked it over.
