This is just awesome. Just standing around just looking at the problem .. the new, unexpected, unplanned for problem .. and then there's a s#*% ton of s#*% strewn over every inch of the yard...

Heck yeah they'll be done Sunday afternoon .. they only told you Monday to cover their a@@e@....... 😆

(..gee can you tell I've had a few bad experiences with shoddy contractors in my area?)

Most of the stuff is the old patio cover that tore down.  They did remove that.  The problem was the old concrete footings they didn't plan on jackhammering.  Not working the weekend, so they have to pour new footings on Monday.  If they don't finish on Monday, they will have to come back Feb 28 to finish... and get paid.  I tried to push them to start on Feb 28, but they assured me they could finish before we leave.

Top of the pot spies ☕.  I attended the WM yesterday, taking advantage of free tickets and The Patriots pavillion.  I arrived at the gate at 0710 only to find out they were delaying entry due to frost delay.  Unlike 90% of the early arrivers, I was not heading to #16 stadium...what a sight and mess that is.  I found a spot in grandstand right behind #10 green and watched from there for about 2 hours; seeing Scheffler, Scott, JT, among other notables come through.

I don't think I'll attend this event again (maybe a Thursday) as it is simply too crowded.  Further, the atmosphere is way too drink/drunkfest for me.  Watching two patrons puking and one $faced girl being attended to by police/FD isn't tour golf I grew with.  I started following Horschel but seemingly could not stay clear of a group who were clearly intoxicated and kept hollering "let's go Billy" amongst other stupid comments.

Other than the knukleheads and that it was cold and sloppy everywhere from the downpours on Thursday, always fun to watch these guys make this game look so easy.  Here's some pics to get your golfing mojo humming.  Have a great weekend all!

Five years ago we went to WMPO; we got Marshal passes from a friend, so we went everywhere.  It was a Thursday so we didn't see all the drunks.  We even spent an hour in the stands at #16... kinda fun.  Not sure I would go again because of the traffic getting to the parking area.  We've been to more LPGA events than PGA events, and we will go to more of those.

Another day of doing nothing; at least the golf coverage has started so I can watch that for most of the day.  10 days post surgery and feeling pretty good;  only big complaint is my shirt rubbing against the incision; it is driving me crazy 🤪  Tried a little putting yesterday and while it doesn't hurt, I have the same problem with the shirt.

Looking at @EasyPutter countdown makes me worrried I won't be ready for the outing.

Pretend you are at the WMPO and putt shirtless.  😂   It won't be long before you can swing.  EP's countdown timer is still more than 3 months.

I actually read/watch quite a bit of Ladies golfing . Having a slower swing speed, it helps to figure out what I can do to improve or compensate for it.

Yep, me too!

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.

Good morning all unusually warm again for February, supposed to start cooling off tomorrow with snow showers for Tuesday and Wednesday. Been working out and riding the bike everyday trying to get in golfing shape for next month, hopefully all that crappy weather is done in Arizona it's been warmer in western pa. I hope it's at least in the upper 60s, I can handle that. Have a great weekend everyone.

Maybe I need to walk around shirtless; my wife has been laughing at me because I have been walking around with my hand under my shirt holding it away from the incision 🤣

I am hoping it won't be long but I am thinking end of March into April before I can do full swings based on past discussions with the doctor.

Guess you're not supposed to cover the incision..? I was thinking maybe something like an extra large nonstick gauze may offer a barrier between the scar and your shirt.

And I'm still very hopeful you'll be back into golfing form by May!!.. or else I'm happy to take you on as mentor / swing coach / putting guru and on course strategy guide! 👍

There was never a bandage on the incision; kind of surprised me when I first looked, but I guess I could put a few gauge pads over it.

I will be back golfing in May; there is no question about that.   I am more worried about the quality of golf being played 🤣

What a fun day so far. I completed my driver shoot out. I happened to play well today so the testing was easy. In third place was the Ping G400. It hit every fairway but just did not have the length of the TSi 1.
The TSi 1 was trading blows back and forth with the Aerojet. I would hit a good drive with the TSi 1 and the Aerojet would get 10 yards past it. Then on the next hole the Titleist was further by 10 yards.

The edge went to the Titleist due to accuracy. This was the same result I came up with last year but I wanted to validate again. A few birdies and 1 bogey made for a good time.

The highlight of the day.

It’s SPRING baby. The green grass is starting to poke through the dormant grass. Lots of the trees have buds and it’s 72 degrees currently.

That Titleist feel/sound is really good as well

Might take a little bit of work after the surgery but your game will return to form quickly, just never fast enough to suit you. There are definitely more aspects to be enjoyed at these outings so I would recommend concentrating on intimidating and nagging the hell out of everyone if the game is not where you want it at the time... 🤣

Just don't push things too far, too fast. I think everyone believes in their mind that they are more capable than their body actually is.  Hate for someone to stretch their boundaries and have to start over, or worse,  create more issues or complications.

Good Morning! No golf today. We are having my son's 12th birthday party today at a trampoline and it is absolute chaos. Preteens, sugary drinks and trampolines are a recipe for anarchy. Wish me luck.

Happy 12th birthday to him. Hope it's every bit of fun as he hopes!

We have sworn off trampoline/jump parks. But thata another story!
