Just wanted to give an update as I was just now able to get service about an hour from the house on a supply run with a neighbor. Western NC was devastated by hurricane Helene and it will be some time before we have power, water, much less WiFi, and road access where we are. Hopefully the trees can be cut on our road tomorrow or Monday to make way for crews to get power back on. We have a tree on the house but no major damage that I can see.  Others have not been as lucky. Our biggest issue is not being able to get vehicles out of the drive due to those down in the roadway. The hardest part with that is having an 18 month old and trying to get ice and food for her but hopefully will find some soon. Stay safe out there and prayers for all affected

Good morning! Headed off to Galveston to get on a boat. This is the last time the PXGs will see me for a week 😂 IMG_4080.jpeg.83a8ccdedd5a55dd51d6e8b6a521195b.jpeg

Spent 9 years in Galvatraz (PA school then working at the school) but never took a cruise.

Try to forget about that game, OK? And enjoy!

Story I read about Tom Kim and Scottie was that they play money matches all the time in Texas. So I think you’re pretty spot on with your assessment. But I will counter that with this year, the presidents cup has really peaked my interest.

IMHO it is like professional wrestling, reality shows and soap operas--- Keep the drama stirred up

Good (kinda) Morning & Happy Saturday!

Late to the Party today had to help SWMBO with her early projects and went with her food shopping.  Then spent 3+ hours on the shrubs.  I do the shrubs in 3 sections, getting to be a lot for an old guy.  One more section to go.  Grass cutting takes an hour + (tomorrow) edging/trimming another hour.  Since this is FL there’s no real break in growing seasons.  Anyway busy day and watch some of the Presidents Cup.
Everyone have a great rest of the day!!

I work in the yard in the same manner by sections. I did away with our shrubs except the 3 Azella bushes some 3 years ago. Paid a crew to come in and dig them up and dispose of them. I hate shrubs anyhow. Here we get bees and all kinds of nasty stuff including copperheads in them.

Good morning MGSpies on a wet outside morning from passing showers last night in WNY reminding us we are all part of the early autumn tropical weather affecting this half of the US, all best intentions and prayers for those affected by the weather.  MyGolfSpouse has an Open House at her school for the first of 2 this week she is up for and corgis needed their breakfast.  Golf today for me is HOPE session 4 of 6 at CC of Buffalo and first opportunity to sport a new golf bag at HOPE since my own graduation in 2018 when the C130 Camo bag made its debut, like a rite of passage for my gear - and chance to make a new group of Veterans aware of MyGolfSpy and the opportunities a Forum membership affords anyone who wants to get involved. House jobs will also take up the day, next golf is tomorrow after work.  Hope golf is a part of your day ⛳

Morning All,

Well yesterday I learned a valuable lesson in building this dang shed. It is not as easy as our small shed and getting the roof on is a lot more work than it should be. So I have to finish the roof today and it will be placed on its final resting spot to be the coop for the chickos. Going to try to get to the range afterwards. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone!

It's another dreary, wet morning as the last of the remnants of the tropical storm passes through. I'm still praying for those who were affected by the storm and hoping they can get power, road access, and shelter soon.

I'm in the process of waking up and drinking coffee while also trying to give the pups a little love. I don't think anything golf related will happen today but it'll be a good day to spend with the family.

I hope y'all have a great Sunday!
