GM & Happy Friday!!!   Had a 7:00 Tee Time so a bit rushed but no problem to meet up with the Bacon Boyz.  Played poorly but breakfast was always special with the Boyz.  We solved all the world’s problems now all we need is someone to listen to us!!

Sitting in waiting room now as SWMBO has a procedure that we hope will solve her issues and prevent major surgery.

A possible freeze warning is in effect until 9 am Sunday and our predicted temperature is 41° at tee time in the morning.  I will be layering up like it is winter golf again!

Ok so think I mostly solved my iron duffs.

only took me 80 balls to figure out I was looking up before impact .  Striking issue mostly solved.  Find out next week if it actually is.

maybe I’ll hit the range again Sunday to confirm haha.

I was doing the same thing some when I was playing steel shafts. I have so much vintage stuff the combinations are endless. Since switching to graphite I have not attempted to do that. But I am playing as much golf as I want pain free. Already got 72 holes in this week with the Saturday Shootout for this AM and we also have the 9 & Dine scheduled for late this afternoon if the rain does not get us. Yep since switching to graphite and being able to play so much pain free I am scared to hit any of my steel shafted vintage stuff

No promises, but if we (Forum Staff) were able to get a custom golf bag (likely stand bag) which would have a special MyGolfSpy Forum Logo on it and your user name or tag (whatever you want to call it) embroidered for about $200 would you be game or interested?

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday and I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I just made it to work because I volunteered to help the finish department. Rain was forecast for today, so why not take the opportunity to make a little extra dough.

I'm glad to hear her procedure went well. I hope y'all can get out later and enjoy some breakfast together. There's nothing like a good breakfast.

GM spies and happy Saturday! Going to be a cold weekend here in Wisconsin but no golf was on the schedule anyways as we are at my in-laws cabin. Went out for fish fry and old fashioneds last night at our favorite bar/restaurant and got to do a little fishing before bed. 

ONLY negative so far is that on the way up yesterday, we ran over something in the road that neither my wife nor I saw and it punctured her front driver side tire. We were able to fill it and limp it the rest of the way to the cabin so I didn’t have to put the spare on (busy Highway makes me nervous doing that) and will have to find somewhere to take it to get repaired today. 
 

Hopefully will get some more fishing in today (the cold doesn’t stop my oldest ).

Thanks, we just got home and SWMBO is doing well and now a nap for her.  Lucky Diner is a under 1 mile cart ride.

Most likely not - for a couple of reasons: we only use cart bags since all the courses I play are cart only and I already have 3 cart bags - 2 Sun Mtn and 1 Bag Boy. 

On the other hand I'd love to have 'something' I could either have sewn on or glued on the identifies me as a Forum member.

That’s a very cool idea. I did just buy within the last month a Sun Mountain 2.5+ since I have been walking at the club I recently joined. It would be hard to pull the trigger on another bag so soon.

A wonderful Saturday morning to all you Spies. My tee time isn't until 3pm so I have some time for household chores. Should be 75° and clear for most of the round, but possible rain around 6pm could make the end of the round damp. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning MGSpies on a day that was forecast for more rain than the hourly forecast is showing but too wet to give grass the first cut.  Was up late and bed after midnight combination great evening and choosing to write-up the day's Red Rooster Sussex glove first experience and post it, and thanks to @fixyurdivot with an eagle-eye comment on my existing gear it got more creative thoughts going and that doesn't help Mr. Sandman putting me to sleep but given a choice of sleep or talking golf stuff, I am the veritable kid the night before anything exciting the next day

I have flirted with the idea of having a stand bag but have always opted to let a cart carry my cart bag instead of the carry load on my back.  I am well aware that what was used hard for a year wearing protective gear and combat load of weapons and ammo in my 40s needs to be treated with great care to not exacerbate what was abused since I intend to reach triple digits so that I have a chance of shooting my age  

With all that said I am unlikely to get a carry bag and I am particular to what my cart bag features.  We definitely need to get things like embroidered golf towels, scorecard holders, and valuables pouches and embossed things like pitch fix tools, bag tags, umbrellas, ball markers, phone holders, etc.  And not all at once, bring them in adding them as makes sense so there is always something new to consider buying to represent MGS.  And everything should have a QR Code for the Forum if possible so we can share our Community with the taking of a smart phone photo on the course.

Hot tea and porridge this morning and not sure where the day is going but it is always something good so onward with the adventure! Hope golf is a part of your day

Good Saturday morning Spies,

No golf on the radar today - I only see rain with thunderstorms.  Bummer, I'd a rematch of yesterday as I certainly wasn't swinging like I should and being challenged with grass conditions. I do have lots of "work" do around the house just getting back from our winter south!  Besides I need to restock on the groceries. We left the cupboards pretty bare when we left and have had weird combinations for dinner.  (Meatloaf with rice- where's my taters!)

Good morning Spies, No golf this weekend. Weather moving in again. I usually reserve the weekends to do something with my Sweetie. Today we will venture out to a local course to try their food offering. The Wood in Baldwinsville, N.Y. has been well reviewed for their food so we will give it a try.

On semi golf front. I successfully extended the shaft on my Callaway Mack Daddy CB wedge after my Paradym iron fitting. This morning I cut it to size and re-gripped it.

We had a football officials golf tourney, pull up get signed in paid, warmed up everything is going great. 1st hole hole par, second hole bird, 3rd hole WTF is that tractor doing in the damn fairway??? Why is the fairway a different color, OMG the grass is burnt What happened??? Tee off, walking up the fairway SOB they're plugging and sanding the greens, &^%$.  Jackass's never said a word to anyone at any point in setting up up the tourney. 12 holes later we finally were able to get ahead of the work. 

Haven't been back to that course since. That said I'll be there next Saturday with the group of 20 that are going on my golf trip in June.
