Wasn't able to get 18 in before league last night after all, as my mom is going back to school after a 6 year hiatus from teaching and has been working really hard to get ready for the new venture this year. New school district, new age group of kids, etc. I could tell she would appreciate some extra prep time, so I cancelled my tee time and just stayed home with the boys until league so she had some extra hours. Was inconsistent at best in league, started off with an absolutely piped drive on the first tee, then didn't hit another really good one the rest of the round. Some serviceable shots, but not any smoked. Hit some good approaches but am really struggling with the Cobra Snakebite wedges. Half swings and chips I hit them very well, but once I get into full swings it goes off the rails bad. Frustrating, but just need to keep working at it. Going back to my trusty TM Spider Tour Platinum putter for my next few rounds as well as I'm just not seeing improvements with the King 3D Supernova. Struggled to make anything outside of 6-8' in league yesterday, either coming up just short or rolling past the hole after hitting it too firm. I'm just so used to the feel of the spider. I do love the Tour Traxion 2.0 grip, so will be getting one of those put on my Spider I think as they have them stocked in the pro shop. Otherwise might try the Pistol GTR 2.0 (currently have the 1.0, and it's seen better days ) Whoa, that got into a way off the good morning subject rant. Have a great day! I started a training program with a running coach this week. SWMBO has inspired me. She bikes and swims. I don’t swim so I chose running and biking. It's Thursday, so the weekend is almost here. I've got to work Saturday, production has been called for our shift. It's going to be a longer weekend for me, I'm off Monday and Tuesday to care for my wife after her gallbladder removal on Monday. The coffee is warm and tasty this morning and hopefully it'll be a good day. We have the community call this evening, so that's a plus. I hope all of you have a good day. Coworker is off work for the next two weeks so I get to go in an hour earlier than normal to cover for him. That also means that I’ll get off an hour earlier so work will be done at 1:30 in the afternoon. He told me yesterday to make sure that I get out to play golf as often as possible since I’ll be getting off work earlier while he is gone.
